Alexander's POV:

Albert was taken to the closest western hospital. He was confirmed dead, to two bullet wounds.

The minute the doctors said this, Uncle Felix whisked me and George to the door.

"Boys." He said gravely. "I have to tell you this. When the lights turned off, Mr. Wong ran out of the room. Do you have any ideas to why he would have left?"

I turned white.

"No." I said. "We don't."

"Well, that's not it entirely. Amina was spotted climbing through the window next to the stairs just before Albert was murdered. She didn't tell anyone she would be there." My jaw dropped. No—It couldn't be. Could it? "She climbed out right after the alarm went off."

George was speechless. I was too.

Did Mr. Wong and Amina kill Albert?

"B—but why would they kill him? They had no reasons to!" I spluttered.

"I agree with Alex." said George.

"Hmm. Well, this is definitely a new case. I'm not the only one who saw Amina and Mr. Wong. If word gets out before we solve this, Mr. Wong and Amina will both be arrested, and Hazel's family will become homeless."

Tears glistened in my eyes. What will we do? Amina would never kill someone—and Mr. Wong wouldn't do it. He just wouldn't.

But he could.

Daisy comes running into the Hospital. "Uncle Felix! Uncle! I think it's Mrs. Arcady! I need your help!"
