Beanie's POV:

We're in the car. Kitty still fuming that Lavinia wasn't telling her all the details about the call. Poor Lavinia! She looked very stressed. I wondered if her Grandfather was alright. I suddenly regretted giggling when her mother called. I must apologise to her, I thought.

"Hi! Lavinia, I'm really sorry for laughing on the phone call. I am a very bad friend—"

"Be quiet for a second, Miss Martineau." Lavinia's uncle said, his golden hair gleaming. I looked down at my shoes. He reminded me of Daisy's uncle from fallingford...

And then something in my mind clicked. As Daisy would say, detective thoughts.

"Wait. You are Daisy's Uncle Felix!" I exclaimed at him.

"We know, Beanie!" Kitty said. "Now be quiet while the maids are packing our luggage!" I looked around to find that it was snowing. Soft snowflakes were gliding around the lawn, covering everything in a warm, soft, blanket of snow.

We all sat in silence for a few minutes.

The maids finished packing, bowed to us, and walked back inside.

"Now," Daisy's Uncle said, "here's what we are going to do..."
