Hazel's POV:
Today's the day.
Amina woke me up at five O' clock in the morning.
"Hello! It's the day we've all been waiting for!" Amina beamed at me, as I opened my eyes. "Now, I have to show you something important. Come with me." she dragged me out of the warm sanctuary of my bed, and into my wardrobe.
"Ugh, Mie, what is this?" I groaned,as she ran out of the room.
"I'll be just a second!" she whispered—cried.
I looked around. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Then I realised.
"TODAY's THE DAY!" I almost—squealed, as Amina slowly walked into the room, cradling a bunch of blankets. I got a deja—vu of when I first met Teddy, but pushed it away.
"What's this?" I asked her.
Amina smiled the biggest smile. "Meet Layla." she whispered, which made me very confused.
The blanket moved.
Slowly, I inched forward towards the blankets, realising.
"Oh my gosh! Amina! She's beautiful!" I cried.
Amina was holding a little baby girl.
"It's a surprise for Daisy. But don't tell her, I'm going to surprise her at the party tonight. I adopted her at the Fa shun Hotel; a woman who owns an orphanage needed space, I volunteered to adopt one of the children." She beamed at Layla.
I smiled at her.
"Now," she said. "Let's get you ready for your big day, huh?"
