Parachute

Hazel's POV:

Cornelia ran all the way to the back of the plane, us on her tail. She looked back at us nervously, before opening the emergency door, grabbing a parachute, and jumping.

We watched helpless, as she slowly fell towards the ground.

"What should we do?" Amina said, panicked.

"Um," said Daisy. "I'll parachute after her!"

"Quickly!" Amina said. "The air pressure is getting really high!

But I was already unstrapping the parachute from her back, and readying myself to jump off the plane.

"No!" Amina screamed. "Hazel! NO!"

They lunged for me, just as I fell off with both of their parachutes.

I turned around, looking for my target. Cornelia was looking back at me.

I saw Daisy yelling furiously at me, as I grinned back. This might have been the last time I saw her.

I went into a diving position. Cornelia obviously didn't know how parachutes worked. She had already pressed the button that made the giant flag go up, making her drop slowly.

I dived for her.

As I reached her, she swatted for me furiously, which didn't stop me in any way. Silently saying goodbye to the world, I grabbed her parachute, which came off easily, making both of us fall.
