Alexander's POV:
Daisy, is...crazy.
"You cannot think that this will actually work." I criticise her, while she helps me pack my things.
"She will come back, and when she does, you need to show that you were searching for her. For ages. Then she will know that you would never do that to your child." Daisy zips up the rucksack, filled with food, water, paper, glue, and ropes, lots of ropes, for some reason.
"Or, I could actually try look for her."
"Seriously? Alexander, you dumb dimbo. There are about six hundred triad gangs searching for you at this moment, trying to get to Hazel. You're putting yourself in danger too, and that would not help. So shut your big mouth." She glares at me under her golden curls.
I frown.
"Alright, but, if she finds out about this, I am blaming you." I clench my teeth, straining myself from yelling. Why am I such a big mess?
Suddenly, Daisy's gaze softens. "Aww, so cute."
I grin. "Well, I'm kind of married to her."
"No, not you. I'm talking about the little cat that's sitting outside the window." She smirks, while running to open the window to let him inside. "Hey little guy!"
