Olivia Pov

Over the next week Ashton and I kept hanging out more, he was helping me with my homework because I couldn't really write at the moment with my wrist in a brace. But homework turned into coffee and then we would watch a movie in my room or we would play a video game. It was nice having company, but this also meant I saw Luke less and we were fighting more. There was nearly a code red on Wednesday but Micheal made us agree not to have a big fight until my wrist was healed.

It was Friday again, this Friday was better by far. I had a class with Ashton and the teacher had sort of given up trying to manage the class so we could basically talk the whole time. Then I could leave early because I couldn't play lacrosse.

Ashton had asked me on a date after school but not told me what we're doing, so I stayed in the library until he had finished, then I went to find him after classes finished for the day.

I looked around the car park for him, I could see his car just not him, "Hey cutie," I hear him behind me I jump turning round, "sorry did I scare you?" he chuckles.

I smile up at him, "it's fine, I just thought you would be out by now," I chuckle, hitting his arm lightly.

"Well, I'm here now, ready for our date? " he smiles, showing off his cute dimples.

I smile and nod, "yeah, what are we doing again?" I say looking up at him as we walk to his car.

"I told you it's a surprise but I know you'll love it," he giggles, putting an arm around me, we had become very comfortable around each other, talking and holding hands, we were practically dating but haven't put a label on it yet.

I giggle leaning into him, "just tell me!"

"No you'll find out soon enough" he smiles and we get into his car and he starts driving to the unknown location.

Minigolf.

It wasn't the most exciting or original but it seemed like fun.

"You like it right? It was either this or bowling but I decided this was safer with your wrist." he smiles leaning on the counter where we waited for the guy to pass us the putters and balls.

I smile up at him, "it's perfect, I'm not going to win tho," I chuckle poking him lightly.

"I'll help you with it" he smiles, poking me back.

I giggle, "you're not going to do that cheesy move where you are behind me and then help me with my aim are you?" I smile.

"What if I want to be cheesy?" he smirks, looking down at me.

"Then I like cheese." I giggle, feeling myself blush.

"Good," he chuckles, holding my hand as we walk to the first hole.

We make it round the whole 21 holes and somehow I end up winning, no clue how that works but I guess Ash is just really bad at this. We were walking down the river bank holding hands, it was cute.

"Hey Olivia..." he says, looking down at me as we look over the river.

"Mhmm," I say looking back up at him.

"I really like you, Olivia..."

Those words, why did that make me scared, worried, unsure of what to say, yes I like Ashton but enough to say it? And is it liking him the same way he likes me? Everything runs through my mind like wildfire, "I like you too" I say casually looking into his eyes.

Well, at least I didn't say thanks...

Ashton smiles and leans in, "can I kiss you?"

Shit shit shit shit

I nodded, not knowing what to say and then we kissed. It was sweet, soft and I felt very awkward but it was nice to have someone like me for a change.

The rest of the night was like a perfect first date with walks along the river and then he dropped me back at my house and kissed me on the doorstep. It was all just very sweet. Sam was never really like this, he didn't take me out on a proper date for the first month of us 'dating' we would just go to parties or hang out at his house. It was nice to actually be treated to something.

When I get in I get a plate of leftovers out of the fridge and head up to my room and sit on my bed.

"You in late...'' I hear from my window, I look up from my food and see it's Luke.

"oh yeah, I had a date with Ashton," I grin happily as I eat my food.

"What? Ashton, Ashton?" he says, confused by this concept.

"Who else do you know called Ashton?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever I just wouldn't have expected it, Is Mikey ok with you dating one of his friends?" he says leaning on the back wall of my bedroom.

"Well he kinda has no choice, I can date who I like, plus he's dating my best friend too," I grumble not liking this conversation.

He rolls his eyes "I only asked because he's so protective... I don't want the band to break if you guys break up,"

"But it's only a first date, it's not like we're gonna break up any time soon," I sigh, leaning back.

He raised an eyebrow, "sure... and then you'll just avoid him if you do break up, right?"

"Oh shut up Hemmings, it's not like that, we're both mature, if we did break up we could sort it out and just be friends..." I grumble, putting a hand through my hair.

"I'm just saying..." he grumbles, holding his hands up.

"Now please leave before you make yourself get into a worse whole..." I say throwing a pillow at him.

"Ok ok I'm leaving..." he mumbles heading towards the window again, I feel like something's up with him but I'm not in the mood to ask about it.
