Olivia POV

By the time I get back to mine I'm soaked through and my hair is dripping and my fringe keeps falling in my eyes. I look up at my door to see no other than Luke... sitting on the doorstep leaning his head in his hands as he looks at the ground. He looks nearly as soaked as I am and the rain is getting heavier. I guess he hears me coming over as I walk because he looks up at me as I get closer.

"Hey..." he says as he gets up from the doorstep, but stands so he's blocking the way in.

Rain pouring down my face as I stare at him in disbelief, "Is that really all you have to say? 'Hey'? What the fuck Luke! what are you fucking doing here?!" I say trying to stand under the porch. The rain was fine when I was running but now it's really heavy and cold and I'm shivering.

"I wanted to check you got back..." he sighs looking down at me, his hair flopping over his eyes.

"So you waited in the rain?" I roll my eyes, slighting, pushing my hair out of my eyes.

"Well, I knew that if I didn't wait on your doorstep, you would just lock me out of the house..."

"So what? You deserve it..." I grumble crossing my arms.

He raised an eyebrow as he looked down at me, "I see your run did not help your anger..."

"Do you want me to hit you or something," I say, shooting him a glare.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that..." he sighs, putting his hands through his hair in frustration.

I roll my eyes, "you're being such a dickhead right now and I just wanna go hide from the rain..." I say rubbing my arms trying to warm myself up.

"Ok ok, can we talk inside?" he says with pleading eyes and I know he's not going to let me in till I say yes.

"No, because if I do you'll not leave me alone"

"What happened to, wanting to hide from the rain?" he questions raising an eyebrow.

"I don't wanna deal with your bullshit right now hemmings, just leave me alone!" I say trying to get past him to the door but he blocks the way.

"Please just hear me out," he says standing right in front of the door.

"If you're not going to leave me alone I'm gonna go on another run!" I say spinning around to leave.

I manage to take a few steps before Luke grabs my wrist pulling me back, "Olivia, please..." I just look up at him staring into his eyes for a moment.

With the rain dripping down both our faces, I think to myself about how his eyes look like bright blue marble. I snapped myself out of it, "I told you before I just need space to think, I'm tired and my brain isn't working and I don't wanna say the wrong thing, so please leave me alone!" I snap at him and push him away.

"But-"

"No buts, right now Hemmings I really don't wanna punch you but I will if you don't leave!" This time he stays where he is and lets me go to the door, he doesn't even try to say anything he just stands there with a look on his face that shows every emotion running through his head. I feel bad but know that it was what needed to be said at the time, there were also worse things I could have said.

As soon as I get in I fall straight to sleep, I don't even try and dry my hair or take my wet clothes off. I'm so tired that I just flop into my bed hoping that I can think straight when I wake up.

"I told you before I just need space to think, I'm tired and my brain isn't working and I don't wanna say the wrong thing, so please leave me alone!" she snaps at me and pushes me away. I let her this time, I knew that all this was my fault, I didn't know what to say to her so I just stayed quiet letting my mind run wild in my head. I knew if I let her sleep then she might understand. I watch as she enters the house not even looking back at me, her hair sticking to her back and going curly from the rain.

Olivia POV

The rain had become a storm, thunder lightning the whole shebang. Because I went to sleep at around 6 I ended up waking up in the middle of the night from the thunder, my mind suddenly racing with thoughts of Luke. All the things I said out of anger and how I didn't mean any of it. I couldn't think of anything else, I couldn't get back to sleep, and I suddenly had all this energy for no reason.

So I did the only thing I could think of. I got up put some shoes on and went to Lukes.

After I rang the doorbell a few times I got worried that he wouldn't hear it so I started pacing back and forth. In the rain. After what felt like forever he finally came down, it was probably only a minute but to me and my half-awake brain, it felt like an eternity and I was soaked through for the second time. "Olivia?!"

I stop pacing and look up at him my hair falling over my face, "hey..."

A/N- this is a short one but I like it, let me know your thoughts and opinions, if you were in their shoes what would you say?
