Olivia pov
I managed to get some sleep last night but not much my mind was still racing even after I had spoken to Luke. If anything it made it worse. I ended up getting up early because of the point in staying in bed if I couldn't sleep.
I had gotten ready with my hair down and just had some simple skinny jeans and a comfy top on. I applied mascara and concealer, I didn't feel like putting on full makeup, I just wanted to look more awake.
Once I'm happy with my makeup and outfit I head downstairs and grab a coffee. It was still early but Claire was picking me, Micheal and Luke, up in around an hour. I decided to sit on the doorstep while I waited. It was a nice enough day, the sun was out and there was a slight morning chill in the air so I took my coffee out and a book that I was reading.
"Hey you," I hear from next to me after a while.
I look up seeing Luke, "heya..." he leans his shoulder on the wall, he just seems out of it. "You ok, Hemmings?" I say standing up so I can look at him.
"What? Yeah, I'm fine..." he says not looking me in the eye.
I shake my head not believing it, "No something is up with you... tell me... is it something about last night?"
"What?! no, don't worry... it's nothing I promise..." he says looking up at me.
"Ok but you know you can tell me if something is bothering you right?" I say looking up at him searching his eyes for some kind of sign.
He nodded, "of course, but it's no big deal... you look cute today," he smirks trying to change the subject.
I roll my eyes and give him a quick kiss, "thank you... but I'm not I literally feel like shit today..." I sigh sipping some of my coffee.
"Oh shut up, you're gorgeous even when you think you're having a bad day," he says looking down at me.
I smile slightly, "I'm still mad at you..." I smirk then I hear a car and I step away quickly walking towards Claire's car, "finally, Hemmings was talking shit," I laugh running over and jumping in the passenger seat.
"Where's Michael?" Claire says looking at me and then looking over to the house.
"I think he'll be here in a sec," I chuckle.
Luke wanders over to the car casually and jumps in the back seat. Mikey finally runs out of the house, "sorry baby, I was making you a coffee," he smiles handing a coffee to Claire.
"Awe babe, you're so good to me," she giggles and pecks him on the cheek.
"Ick stop being so cringy," I grumble and sip my coffee.
Claire rolls her eyes, "you're just jelly because you don't have a boy who does that for you," she smirks as she pulls out and starts driving to the school.
I glance at Luke and smirk slightly, "no it's because it's my brother and my best friend..."
"Hmmm... just keep telling yourself that Ortega," Luke says, smirking at me.
"You aren't much better Hemmings, when was the last time you had a girlfriend?" I tease. We were just keeping up the facade for Micheal and Claire.
"Both of you shut up," Michael chuckles at our petty arguments.
Claire chuckles as she pulls into the school, "we're here, please go inside and try not to fight."
I roll my eyes, "yes Claire," I grumble getting out of the car, we head inside and go to our lockers. Luke gets the stuff he needs for the first few classes and then leans on the locker. I do the same thing. We look at each other and then quickly look away before walking toward our classes. The others are still busy getting their stuff out of their lockers so we're walking together and the crowds of people are loud enough to drown out whatever we say, "I don't know how to act... it feels so weird..." I mumble glancing up at him.
