Chapter 24

The next morning there was a hustle bustle in a house in Ahmadabad. A woman woke up early as her daughter was coming back home a week later. She was angry at her husband who was taking more time to freshen up.

"Preeti ke papa jaldi kariye, train ke aane ka time ho raha hai... train ke aane se pahle aap station pahuch jaiye... mai nahi chahati ki meri beti intezaar kare... Bhagwan jhut na bulaye, jara bhi fikr nahi hai... bechari itni door se thaki aayegi aur aap thoda jaldi nahi ja sakte." Bela shouted at her husband as he was going to the railway station to pick up Naina.

"Shant raho meri rekha... abhi sirf 6 baje hai train aane me samay hai train 7 baje aayegi...tab tak ek cup chai pila do elaichi wali phir mai jaunga." Aanand said while coming out of his room after freshened.

"Ji aap baithiye mai abhi layi." She said in slow voice and ran to the kitchen for bringing the tea.

At while sipping the tea he praised her tea and she blushed.

"Bela such me tumahre haatho me jaadu hai, chai pee ke din ban jata hai... tabhi to bhabhi ji har subah aa jati hai." Aanand said of the matter of fact while laughing.

"Aap bhi kuch bhi kahte hai... mai utna achha bhi nahi banati ki aap tarif kare." She said with blushing.

"Achchha ab mai chalata hu." Aanand got up from chair after finishing his tea. Bela nodded her head in yes.

Rajadhani express arrived Ahmedabad railway station at the right time. Today station was much crowded as the festival season started, people were going to their home and many people coming here. As soon as train stopped on the platform everyone started running towards the train because they did not want to leave the train.

Once the train speed slow down Naina arranged her luggage. When the crowd subsided she came out of the train and she was surprised as her chachaji was present right in front of her. She ran towards him and hugged him as she saw him a long time later.

Aanand patted her back and asked "kaisi hai meri bachchi....Delhi me maza kiya."

"Thik hu chachaji... aur bahut maza aaya." She said like a kid while looking at him and again hugged him.

He was overwhelmed to see her happiness. When she was going to Delhi she was sad, there was no smile on her face and no twinkle in her eyes. But today, Anand saw a different joy on her face and a sparkle in her eyes which he always searched in her eyes.

"Naina ab ghar chale... tum thaki hogi, Bela tumhare intezaar kar rahi hai." He said while pulled out her in the embrace. Naina nodded her head. They left for home taking her luggage.

"Bela aaj ki chai bahut achchi bani thi...Dil khush ho gaya... ab mai chalati hu." Taiji said in sugar-coated voice and tried to getting up from the swing.

"Bhabhiji thoda ruk jaiye Naina aati hi hogi...Preeti ke papa lene gaye hai station." Bela said looking at the time.

"Subah subah kis manhoos ka naam le liya Bela." Taiji said in disgusting way and scrunched her face.

Before Bela could say anything, Aanand and Naina just arrived the house. Bela welcomed her in smile. Taiji looked her narrowing eyes. Once they both came inside the house Naina greeted her taiji but she did not gave her blessings.

"Wo maharani aa gai maze kar ke, dekho to iske chehare ki damak, ek baar kya bahar gai iske to par hi nikal aaye." Taiji taunted and heard her harsh words Naina's face became pale. Taiji walked out of the house while eyeing to Naina.

"Beta tu dukhi mat ho, unki aadat hi hai...Ja tu hath muh do le thak gai hogi, itne lambe safar se aayi hai... mai nasta bana deti hu." Bela said concernly for diverting her mind. She felt very guilty as did not take stand for her daughter in front of Bina.
