Chapter 63

As the car hit the road to return the home Sameer looked at Naina face who seemed lost somewhere. He placed his palm on her hand this making her jolt from her thought.

"Naina mai tumhe bahut time se notice kar raha hun... Kuch to hai jo tumhe pareshan kar raha hai... kya baat hai." He asked turning his face towards her.

"Kuch nahi hai." Naina replied looking straight on the road.

"Meri Naina apne Sameer ko bhi nahi batayegi." He asked lovingly.

And Naina told him about Preeti's miscarriage. Sameer was shocked at first and then he told her that perhaps due to this reason, Pandit was not expressing his happiness.

"Sameer Preeti ne hamesh mujhe sambhala hai, jab kabhi mai taiji ya phir papa ki kadwi baate sunkar dukhi hoti thi... aur phir jab farewell par Sunaina ki baatein sunkar dil tuta tha tab bhi Preeti hi thi jisne mujhe uss dard de bahar nikala tha aur har mushkil palo me mere saath diya tha... par jab use meri zarurat thi mai uske pass nahi thi." Naina said in a heavy voice. "Sameer...Preeti ne ek best sister hone ke saath ek best friend ki responsibility achche se nibhayi hai par mai... mai to dono me fail ho gai as a sister and as a friend." Her eyes brimmed thinking of her sister pain which she suffered lonely.

Sameer stopped the car side of the road. He had a look to her face and wiped her tears saying. "Naina kisne kaha ki tum fail ho gai... Ye tumhara pyaar hi tha Preeti ke saath jisne use apne dukho se ladne ki himmat di ... tum uske pass na rah kar bhi uski takat thi... apne aap ko blame mat karo... agar Preeti ko pata chalega to socho use kitna dukh hoga... Please ek pyari si smile... mere liye na sahi Preeti ke liye." He requested her with love and gestured to her for smile through his hand and she gave him a small smile.

But Naina couldn't forget Preeti's pain and all her own happiness seemed meaningless to her.

Sameer diverted her mind as he had couldn't see her depressed and said in a husky voice. "Naina mai kya soch raha tha... kyo na hum bhi bachcho ki planning kar le..."

Naina eyes dilated in shock and stared him with disbelievable look. Then she heard his husky voice again.

"Socho na hum teeno dosto ke bachche bhi ek saath bade honge bikul hamari tarah aur hamari tarah unki bhi strong friendship hogi hai na mast idea." He looked at her like he gave her a world best idea.

Naina was just amaze of his idea and her face flushed thinking about kid and a heat sensation run down on her whole body.

Sameer enjoyed the deepened colour of her cheek and teased her more. "So you are ready my sweetheart.... then why not start today."

"Sameerr." She uttered and blushed deeply of his unexpected question and sweeped his face to other side.

He ruffled his silky hair and his lips twisted into a lopsided smile. He enjoyed her blushing like a tomato and wanted to embrace her but he suddenly remembered teasing to him in the Preeti home about returning to Ahmedabad, he asked in a desperated look. "Kya tumhe sach me vapas jana hai meeting ke baad.?"

"Haan jana hai... jab ek baar kah diya hai to baar baar kyo puch rahe hai... mera decision nahi badlega." She snapped to him as she did not want to let him leave easily in this matter. So she also teased him thinking now it's my turn.

He knew she was just troubling him as he had noticed a slight smile, corners of her lips and he started the car without glancing her.

She was scared of his sudden seriousness and asked hesitantly. "Sameer...Aap..." But she became quiet as she received a stern look from him.

"Chinta mat karo...Maine promise kiya hai Tumhari har wish puri karne ka... to ye bhi zarur hogi..." He said with a solemn face and shifted his eyes on the road.
