Sameer could not hold his restlessness and guilt anymore as soon as they both returned the hotel after dinner. And as soon as the door closed of their room, he took her name in a bit loud voice.
"Nainaa."
Naina turned back to him listening his annoying voice and her track halted as she was going to the bathroom for freshen up and she gave a confused look at him.
Sameer had tried to his best to make her happy all day but his every effort went to go vain. And now he was on the verge of losing all his patience, so he brusted out at her.
"Naina...kya ho gaya hai tumhe, kyo aise behave kar rahi ho..... please meri purani wali Naina wapas kar do...maine pure din notice kiya hai...tum has to rahi ho...par tumhari aakhon tak wo hasi khushi nahi pahuch rahi hai, tumhari aankho me kuch missing hai, tumhari aakho me mere liye wo pahle wala unconditional pyaar nazar nahi aa raha, mere liye respect aur care to hai par wo pyaar nahi hai Naina jisne hum dono ko bandh kar rakha tha. Please meri purani wali Naina ko wapas kar do." Sameer clenched his fist for his own helplessness and his agitation was visible on his face and body. He felt defeated now.
Naina was stunned and looking at him in disbelief as how he could say that she doesn't love him. She loved him more than her life and her heart shattered into million pieces of his obligation. She stared him quietly but her eyes spoke that she had hurt deeply by his wrong allegation.
Seeing disappointment on her face, Sameer realized what damage he had done in his frustration and softened his voice saying further.
"I am sorry Naina mujhe tumhare pyaar par aise question nahi karna chahiye tha ...par mai kya karu...tumhe udas dekh kar mai bhi baichain ho jata hun, tumhara dard mujhe bhi bahut takleef deta hai... please Naina..." His voice choked and he joined his both hands in front of her.
Naina grabbed his folded hands and uttered in pain. "Sameer aise haath mat jodiye... mai khush hone ki, sab bhulne ki puri koshish karti hun, par mujhe dar lagta hai..." And she lowered her head.
"Kiss baat ka dar Naina... please batao." He asked anxiously.
"Kahi mai phir se koi gadbad kar baithungi aur aap naraz ho jayege....mai sote jagte bas yahi sochati hun ki mujhse phir koi galti na ho...mai aapko naraz kar baithu." A silent sob escaped of her mouth. It's pricked his heart to see his fear on her.
"Naina dekho meri taraf...tum ye dar apne mann se nikal do... please." Sameer requested with a apologetic face.
As Naina looked at Sameer, he said thinking something deeply. "Naina tumhe yaad hoga shaadi se pahle tumne mujhse promise kiya tha... mai jo mangunga tum dogi.."
Naina remembered her promise that she gave him in the temple before tying their relationship. "Haan yaad hai... bataiye aapko kya chaahiye."
"Naina please purani sari baatein bhul kar... tum mujhe meri pahli wali Naina wapas kar do, jo mujhe bahut pyar karti thi bina kisi dar ke...i know meine bahut badi galti hai lekin tumhe aise udas nahi dekh sakta... Please...socho yahi mera gift hoga." Sameer begged for his dearest Naina with teary eyes as his any effort didn't melt her heart.
Naina looked at him with disbelief.
"Please...." Sameer again pleaded seeing other side no response.
Naina was speechless of his request and she had immersed some deep thought thinking of his words.
Sameer apologized again seeing her drowning in some thought with a gloomy face as she did not ready to give up her pain. So he poured out all his guilt, pain, helplessness, fear and frustration. "Kya maine itni badi galti ki hai ki uski saza mujhe meri Naina ko kho kar milegi... please Naina meri galti ki itni badi saza mat do...mai nahi jee sakta tumhare bina..." And tears were streaming down on his cheeks and he said further in a choked voice. "Naina...i love you to more than my life...agar tumne mujhe maaf nahi kiya aur meri Naina ko mujhe nahi loutaya to mai...mai mar jaunga...ye Sameer jinda nah...."
