Life takes such unexpected turns that we cannot even imagine. The same happened with Naina and Sameer, where they were waiting for the child to come into their lives and then an accident happened which took away everything from them, their happiness, their hopes, their dreams and most of all their love, which was lost after this incident. Although Sameer's love had not diminished, Naina's love for Sameer had not lessened but perhaps her love had faded.

Naina had discharged from hospital on the fifth day. Once they enter the main gate and Sameer parked the car, Naina opened her side door without waiting him. Seeing it he immediately reached to her and gave her support but she denied to take his support. She tried to walk but her legs were limping and Sameer looped his arms around her shoulder and took inside the house, where Sameer's family was waiting of her. Anand and Bela also came along with Sameer and Naina from the hospital.

As Naina entered the house Vishakha and Deepika welcomed her with a soft smile. They didn't do much, as it would remind her of her child. So they simply decor the house to give pleasure and prepared the food concerning her health.

Naina sat with them in the living hall and everyone engrossed their talking except her. Bela and Vishakha were busy to discuss of the food which was suitable for her. Aanand and Vivek engrossed some other topic and Sameer gave some instruction to Deepika then he sat next to Naina.

After a while Deepika brought a boul of soup and it gave to Naina but she refused to take it. Sameer insisted her and warned her in a stern tone. "Naina soup lo... nahi to mazbooran mujhe, fir se tumhe hospital me admit karawana padega."

She sipped the soup without any tantrum and looked at him with a complaining look. Once she finished her food, Sameer took her to their bedroom, ignoring her protest as she seemed tired and weak.

As Naina entered her bedroom and her eyes darted around the room, a single tear traced a path down her cheek, a silent proof to the depths of her misery. There was only a few photos, which were their marriage and Ooty's photos. She was surprised as there was no picture of the baby. Earlier their room was full of cute little baby's posters.

Sameer had removed all the posters from the room because he did not want Naina to think again about the unborn child who could never come into their life and had hung special pictures with a purpose. To rekindle their love again between them which was lost somewhere after that accident. He wanted his Naina back. This Naina was very quiet and just stared into the void every time.

At night Sameer brought food for Naina in the room but she was not in the room. He checked her in the balcony and his feet froze as looked at her staring the moon. He called her name but didn't receive any response from her side and he clenched his fists for his helplessness.

"Nainaa.." He voiced her again, plastered a smile on his face, shrugging of his own sadness.

She turned towards him with a hint of unwillingness to his presence and again looked at the moon with a despair.

"Naina chalo room me, tumne dinner bhi nahi kiya hai... aur phir tumhe medicine bhi lena hai." His voice was soft, but commanding.

"Mujhe nahi khana," She replied still looking at moon and her voice devoid of emotion, as though she were speaking from a great distance.

"Please Naina...thoda sa mere liye." His voice quivered, each word a fragile whisper trembling with the weight of unspoken grief as if sadness had stolen the strength from his voice.

She could only nod her head. She silently turned to go inside the room. She walked with a slow step, as though carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.

He felt defeat in every way as the warmth that usually emanated from her eyes had replaced by a chilly detachment that sent shivers down his spine and aches in his chest did not relent. It burned without end as though to remind him of his loss.
