The hobbits slept in the bed while Diana and Aragorn kept watch, looking out the window. The felt the chilling cold fear of the Ringwraiths before they heard them. They were in the hobbit's old room. Their screams of anger filled the air and the hobbits jolted awake.
Frodo sat up on the edge of the bed watching the siblings by the window. He asked quietly what they were. "They were once men, great kings of men. Then Sauron the deceiver gave to them nine rings of power. Blinded by their greed, they took them without question, one by one falling into darkness, now they are slaves to his will." Aragorn said.
"They are the Nazgul. The Ringwraiths." Diana added. "Neither living nor dead. At all times they feel the presence of the ring, the power of the One. They will never stop hunting you." Frodo shifted closer to her and she smiled gently at him. "There won't be any need to worry." she said gently.
They waited until the Nazgul left and the hobbits fell asleep again. At dawn Aragorn woke the hobbits, having a quick breakfast as Diana climbed the roofs making sure the way was safe.
She returned with a horse, saving it from a wicked master. Sam instantly took a liking to it and named him 'Bill'. They loaded their packs onto Bill.
Her brother led the way out of Bree, making sure to keep off of the road. She stayed in the back, watching their rear. "Where are you taking us?" Frodo finally asked.
"Into the wild," came her brother's answer. Diana shook her head at her brothers answer.
"How do we know this, Strider is a friend of Gandalf?" Sam asked. "I think a servant of the enemy would look fairer and feel fouler." came Frodo's reply. "You seem to trust the woman."
"Yes, well she IS fairer and much kinder then Strider." Sam said, causing the girl to smile. "We have no choice to trust them." Frodo said.
"Then where are they leading us?" Sam asked again. "To Rivendell Master Gamgee. To the house of Elrond."
Sam whispered excitedly about seeing the elves causing Diana to let out a musical laugh that made the hobbits feel relaxed. The hobbits stopped and Diana exchanged a look with her brother as he turned around. "Gentlemen we do not stop until nightfall." Aragorn said.
"What about breakfast?" Pippin asked
"You've already had it."
"We've had one yes, but what about second breakfast?" Pippin asked triumphantly. Diana let out a soft laugh and Pippin smiled more, looking proud of himself. Aragorn turned back around and kept walking up the hill.
"I don't think he knows about second breakfast Pip," Merry whispered, as they started moving again.
"What about elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper? He knows about them doesn't he?" Pippin inquired, stumbling after his friend, looking horribly worried of Aragorn and his sanity.
"We don't." Diana smiled and grabbed their shoulders. "Come along." A apple flew over a bush and straight into Merry's hand. He patted Pippin's shoulder and moved along. Another apple hit Pippin on the head and he looked at the sky, confused.

"We shall rest here tonight." Aragorn states looking up at Weathertop. Diana stayed behind the pack, keeping an eye out for any signs of danger.
The hobbits collapsed underneath an alcove that sheltered them from the weather. It also gave them a clear view of the surrounding countryside. Aragorn threw swords at each of the hobbits. "Stay here." Aragorn ordered before walking away. The hobbits looked from their swords, to Aragorn, then finally to Diana.
"It'll be ok. We'll be back. Stay safe." she said, hurrying after her brother.
She didn't follow her brother, instead scaling a tall tree. She sat on a branch as her eyes scanned the surrounding plains, for any of the black riders.
It was when the sun had set and the moon had risen high in the sky when a light caught her eye. A flickering flame. She jumped down from the tree, twisting her ankle slightly as she did so. She heard the chilling screams of the Nazgul and ran swiftly to the top of Weathertop, arriving slightly after Aragorn.
She drew her blade and leapt toward a Nazgul that was creeping toward the hobbits. She desperately kept the Nazgul away from the hobbits, fighting with every ounce that she could muster.
Frodo's screams filled the air and now some of the Nazgul were on fire and were retreating. "Artemis!" Sam yelled. Diana glanced at Aragorn before leaving the last Nazgul for him and ran toward Frodo, falling beside him and glancing at the blade beside him.
She cursed mentally as she picked it up "He's been stabbed by a Morgul blade." the blade disintegrated in her hand, burning her slightly as Aragorn dropped beside her.
"This is beyond my skill to heal. Even Artemis cannot heal him." Aragorn grabbed Frodo, picking him up and slinging him onto his back. "He needs elvish medicine. Artemis take the rear." With that they left Weathertop.
