A flag drifted down past the group and fell onto the floor as the three horses entered the gate of Edoras, the people looked up as they passed, mud and dirt covering their faces. Above the, Diana could see a blonde haired woman with her hair dancing around her face as she looked down at them. "You'd find more cheer in a graveyard." Gimli muttered.

They dismounted and gave their horses to a stable-boy and Diana gave him a soft smile. When they were in front of the Great Hall, soldiers came out to greet them. "I cannot allow you before Theoden King so armed, Gandalf Greyham," he finally said. "By order of, Grima Wormtongue." Gandalf nodded to them and Diana handed over her swords, before reaching behind her for her two swords that crisscrossed in a x, handing them her bow and arrows, her two mini knives, and finally the dagger that Legolas had given her. Legolas looked reluctant to hand over his bow from Lothlorien and Diana thought that Gimli would never give away his ax.

"Your staff."

"Oh," Gandalf said, slightly surprise and shifted his body weight over "You would not part an old man from his walking stick." Legolas came up and took the old wizards' free arm to support him, and Gandalf shot a quick wink to the siblings as they entered the quiet hall.

Sitting next to the king, was a black, pale, slimy-looking man. The man who was most likely Grima, was whispering quickly into the king's ear. The door locked behind them and Diana tensed as she waited. "The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Theoden King." Gandalf called out loudly. More whispering from Grima followed.

"Why should I welcome you...Gandalf...Stormcrow?" The five of them passed around a giant pot in the middle as Grima rose, his eyes moving from Gandalf to her, a fire igniting in his eyes as his eyes trailed her up and down. Aragorn grabbed her hand and squeezed it to calm himself down.

"Late is the hour in which the conjurer chooses to appear." Grima said. The men were following them down the hallway and many were looking her up and down. "Lathspell I name him. Ill news is an ill guest." Grima was in front of them now, gloating.

"Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth." Gandalf demanded angrily. "I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm," he raised his staff. Grima stepped back quickly and Diana saw the men start to move.

"His staff! I told you to take the wizards staff!" Grima yelled. Gandalf continued walking forward as the four of them started to fight. Diana threw a punch to ones nose blood spilling from it, then elbowed another one in the mouth and knocked a few teeth out and to stumble to the ground. Gandalf was talking, but Diana decided to focus on the fight. Diana twisted a mans arm hard, hearing several cracks in his arm and tripped another, stomping on his ankle. The last man she faced she simply kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.

A cry made Diana turn around to see Aragorn holding the blond haired woman back as Gandalf pushed Saruman out of Theoden by force and Gimli was holding Grima down, his foot on his chest.  "If I go, Theoden dies!"

"You did not kill me, you will not kill him!"

"Rohan is mine!" Gandalf shoved Theoden back harder into the throne.

"Begone," Theoden snarled and lept forward, but Gandalf pushed him back with his staff as power radiated throughout the room. Theoden collapsed back into his throne and the blond haired girl rushed forwards.

Ginger and brown were seeping into the kings hair and beard and his eyes were becoming bluer. The king looked at the woman next to him, tears on her face. "I know your face. Eowyn." Theoden stood, looking at Gandalf.

"Breathe the free air again, my friend." He looked at his hands as he whispered about his dark dreams. "Your fingers would remember their old strength better, if they grasped your sword." Gandalf spoke and Theoden was presented with a great sword.

The king inhaled and glared at Grima. Gimli lifted his words, but he rushed to Diana, pushing her against a pillar, pushing his lips against hers before the guards got ahold of him, Legolas and Aragorn rushed to her side as she trembled slightly. Aragorn looked into her eyes, fear and panic in them and Legolas wrapped an arm around her waist as she whimpered.

At his words, Grima was, quite literally thrown out of the throne room, down the stairs as Theoden approached him, sword in hand, yelling at him. The people of Edoras gathered around them and Aragorn pushed ahead of his sister, Legolas, Gandalf, and Gimli as they hurried after the king. Theoden seemed to have had enough of Grima's pleas and raised his sword, but Aragorn grabbed his arm.

"No my lord! No my lord!" Aragorn yelled. "Let him go! Enough blood has been spilt on his account!" Grima got up and ran through the crowds, screaming at them to get out of his way. "Hail, Theoden King!" Aragron yelled and everyone bowed.

Theoden looked around before asking. "Where is Theodred? Where is my son?" everyone looked around at each other.
