Aragorn was more worried then he wanted to admit and Diana knew this. Diana kept her blade ready as her brother carried Frodo and she kept to the rear.
"Look, Mr. Frodo, it's Mr. Bilbo's trolls." Sam said in wonder. Aragorn set Frodo down and Diana grabbed his arm.
"I need Kingsfoil, if you can get me it I can slow the poison until we can get him to Rivendell." she whispered and he gave her a look.
"You're great with medicine, better then me, but this is beyond your skill to heal." he whispered urgently. "You know as well as I do, that we need to get Frodo to Rivendell. We can't use Bill, he's not an elven horse." Aragorn nodded, calling to Sam to help before disappearing into the bushes.
"Will he be alright?" Merry asked desperately. Diana sent them a small, tight smile.
"Without any elvish medicine he will fade to become one of the Ringwraiths." both of the hobbits shivered and she gave them each a hug. Sam came stumbling back into view and Diana grabbed the Kingsfoil from him. She dropped to the ground, and began to chew the weed, pushing it onto the wound. She began to work as Frodo moaned and screamed, and murmured gentle words to him.
Light filled the clearing, making Diana draw her dagger, but it was Arwen that dropped gracefully to the ground from her horse, whispering to Frodo. Arwen coaxed Frodo back to the light, and Aragorn came back handing her Kingsfoil. She continued to work on the wound and gave a small smile at Sam's gasp of Arwen being a elf.
"He's not going to last. We must get him to my father." Aragron picked Frodo up, yet again placing him on the back of Arwen's horse. "I've been looking for you for two days. There are five wraiths behind you, where the other four are I do not know." Aragorn and Arwen began to argue in elvish.
"Aragorn, she can handle herself." Diana cut in and Aragorn looked at her. "Arwen, ride hard do not look back." she kicked Arwen into a gallop as Aragorn stared after them.
"What are you doing?! Those wraiths are still out there!" Sam yelled. "Aragorn, they'll be ok." she said.
They soon continued their journey to Rivendell and horses came for them. They got the hobbits on the horses and rode on.
The hobbits waited worriedly and there they met Gandalf sitting besides Frodo's bed.

The next day Frodo awoke and the Elves of Mirkwood came to Rivendell, along with men and dwarves.
Diana smiled as the hobbits rejoiced at seeing Frodo up and well. She took a bath, before dressing in a new outfit and exploring Rivendell again.
She sat down in a chair, pulling out a book and began to read. Soon enough her brother joined her, also reading a book while leaning against a pillar.
A man came, and examined the painting in the room, before swiftly turning around his eyes landing on us. "You are no elf." he states. "The men of the south are welcome here." Aragorn replies.
He nodded. "Who are you?" he asks "We are friends of Gandalf the Grey." Aragorn answers. He nods as his eyes travel over me. "Then we are here on common purpose." he states. "Friend." he adds.
He then walks to a statue that holds the swords of Narsil. "The shards of Narsil." The man exclaims holding up the sword "The blade that cut the ring from Sauron's hand." he says before cutting his finger. "It's still sharp." he states.
He locks eyes with Aragorn. "But no more then a broken heirloom." he says tossing it back on the pedestal and walks away. It falls to the floor. The man glances at it before leaving. I sigh as I put my book away.
Aragorn and I approach the pedestal. My brother picks up the sword, placing it back gently before taking a step back. We hold our hands over our hearts in respect. "Why do you two fear the past? You are Isildurs heir, not Isildur himself. You are not bound to his fate." Arwen says.
"The same blood flows through are veins, the same weakness." Aragorn answers as I swallow, my eyes going to the floor.
"Your times will come. You will face the same evil and you will defeat it." Arwen says. "The shadow does not hold sway yet. Not over you....not over me." Arwen says.
Aragorn looks over at his sister and she nods. He takes Arwen hand and they leave the room together. Meanwhile Diana goes to her bedroom where she falls into a deep sleep.
