"They are coming." Gandalf muttered in horror. The sounds of goblins was already fast approaching. Frodos blade glowed blue. Boromir slammed the door shut almost being hit by arrows. She and Legolas began to throw him and Aragorn anything they could find to bar it.

"Stay close to Gandalf!" Aragorn yelled to the hobbits. "They have a cave troll!" Boromir said sarcastically. Legolas, Aragorn and herself had their bows drawn, Boromir had his sword drawn along with Gandalf and the hobbits.

Holes started to appear and the three of them shot down the goblins, but then the door smashed open.

Diana twirled into action, exchanging her bow for her sword, slicing through orcs. The battle swept her to the other side of the room alone, just as the cave troll smashed in. She focused her effort on the goblins. She caught a glimpse of Legolas run gracefully up the chain of the monster's weapon, shooting it in the head. She rolled her eyes as a smile graced her features.

Sam ended up next to her, hitting orcs with a frying pan. I raised my eyebrows, but didn't question it.  "I think I'm getting the hang of this!" he gasped. She brought her sword up to deflect a blade that almost killed him and sliced the orc in half.

She heard her brother scream Frodos name and turned to see Frodo playing peek-a-boo with the troll. The troll picked Frodo up by the ankle, holding him upside down. Her brother leapt in front of Frodo, stabbing it in the belly with a spear, causing it to roar in pain.

The troll swiped at her brother tossing him into a column, falling unconscious as Frodo crawled to him, shaking him awake. "Aragorn!" she screamed in horror.

The troll stabbed Frodo in the stomach and everyone's breath stopped, before Merry and Pippin threw themselves on the troll, repeatedly stabbing it. Legolas shot an arrow at the correct time, hitting it in the mouth. The troll fell forward and Merry and Pippin were thrown off.

Diana ran and caught them both in her arms and she set them down. The fellowship gathered around Frodo, who was sitting upright, breathing heavily and revealing a Mithril shirt. Their union was cut off by the sound of more orcs and goblins approaching. "To the bridge of Kazadoom." Gandalf commanded.

She ducked under her brother's side and put his arm around her shoulder as she helped him run. Soon enough they were surrounded. Aragorn pulled himself upright, drawing his sword.

In a doorway from down the hall there came a boom and a loud roar making the goblins retreat in fear. "What's this new devilry?" Boromir asked. It took a while before Gandalf responded. "A balrog. This foe is beyond any of you. Run!"

The fellowship sprinted down the hall and down some steps. Boromir skidded to a stop as his torch fell down. Legolas, thankfully grabbed him and pulled him to safety.

"Lead them on Aragorn. Do as I say, swords are no more use here." Gandalf commanded, pushing her brother forward. They ran down the steps, toward the bridge. Legolas leaping gracefully across, beckoning Gandalf forward as the roars of the Balrog came closer. Gandalf leapt across, being balanced as arrows flew at them.

Boromir jumped with Merry and Pippin in his arms. Aragorn tossed Sam over, Boromir catching him while Legolas and Diana shot arrows at the goblins and was about to toss Gimli, but he held up a hand. "Nobody tosses a dwarf."

He jumped himself and was about to fall backward when Legolas grabbed his beard. "Not the beard!" he protested. Aragorn tossed Diana over and Legolas caught her, arms around her waist before she set him down.

More of the stairs crumbled and Frodo and Aragorn scrambled up. Together they leant forward, Boromir and Legolas catching them.

"Over the bridge! Quick!" Gandalf yelled as the fellowship ran single file down the bridge. Gandalf stopped in the middle and turned around facing the creature.

"You cannot pass!" Gandalf yelled and a glow of protective light glowed around him. "The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udin. You shall not pass!" Gandalf yelled and brought his sword and staff down upon the bridge. The balrog faltered, but still took a step.

"Go back to the shadows! You shall not pass!" Gandalf yelled again and the bridge collapsed. Gandalf turned around, breathing heavily. Suddenly a fiery whip curled around Gandalf's ankle dragging him over the bridge's edge.

He looked up at the fellowship on the stairs. "Fly you fools." he whispered before letting go and falling into darkness.

Frodo's screams filled the air, orc arrows flying everywhere. Suddenly she felt a small amount of pressure.  She looked down to see an arrow shaft sticking out of her body in the lower left side of her stomach, right above the hip bone.

There was another small pressure and Diana fell, seeing another shaft sticking out of her right thigh. Diana was carried out by her brother and was set down on the grass. Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, and Sam ran to her side. Diana stared at the sky holding the tears in.

"Someone get me my pack." Aragorn ordered. Sam did as he said "Frodo....where is he?" she asked. Aragorn looked up and called to him. When he saw what was happening, he ran back.

Legolas sat down besides her. "Aragorn the arrow went in her leg, but the one in her stomach...." Boromir looked down at the two, keeping his emotions in check. "That means you are going to have to push the arrow the rest of the way through her."

Diana started to squirm, the numbness of shock was fading. "I'm ready, just get it over with. Aragorn....you know what to do." he nodded sadly, as Sam returned with the pack.

"Okay, you know this is going to hurt. Squeeze Boromirs hand, and keep focus on Legolas only. Okay?" Legolas came to sit by her head as Boromir held her hand.

Diana smiled softly smiled at Legolas. "It will be okay." his words soothed the young girl and he began to stroke her hair, looking at him, while holding Boromir's hand. As she clung to it, a horrible pain wracked through her body. Aragorn had leaned quickly and fully onto the arrow, pushing it to the other side.

"What are you doing?" Frodo shouts. She sent Frodo a reassuring smile "Hold still." Aragorn said. Boromir lifted her a little to allow Aragorn to snap off the arrow head of both arrows and quickly pull the shafts. It burned.

Aragorn pulled some cloth from his pack. As the pain subsided, he leaned over to meet his sister's gaze. His cheeks were slightly flushed. "I'm going to have to see if the tips were poisonous, but we have to move quickly and before nightfall." he whispered and she nodded.

Boromir interjected. "Absolutely not! She cannot go anywhere like this and we just lost Gandalf! Give them a moment for pity's sake!" "By nightfall, these hills will be swarming with orcs! We must reach the edge of Lothlorien."

She squeezed Boromirs hand. "I'll be fine. Aragorn do what you need to do." Aragorn nodded, and knelt besides her as he motioned for the others to turn away. He sat her up slowly and made a swift cut in the clothing around her thigh and lower abdomen.
