Fixed Marriage ( Part 2 )

Both me and him went to the roof of the stables, this is where me and him usually met so no one would see.

I sat down next to him as we both stare out the horizon. I don't really know what we're gonna talk about, I'm just happy to see him again.

"Goodluck for tomorrow" I said as I tried your best to stop the tears from flowing again. I can't let him see my cry.

"I don't want to get married unless it's with you" he said as a tear left his eye. My heart fluttered at that statement but what will we even do?

"You need to, it's for the humanities safety" I said as I bit my lips, trying to stop any sob from escaping my lips.

"Why is Erwin making me choose between Humanity and you?" He asked while looking down.

"Because he knows you'll choose humanity" I said as a tear slip down my cheeks. Damn it, it's so hard to stop myself from crying. 

"I don't want to see you with... someone else. If I see someone else touch you, I get jealous, and now I need to see you... get married to someone else" I totally lost it and cried my heart out in front of him.

Levi then hugged me tightly, burying my face in his chest as I held onto him like it's my last time to hold him like this, well technically it is.

He also hide his face on your hair as he place gentle kisses on your head. Why do we need to suffer like this? We're good people.

"Can we really not do anything about...this?" I look at his eyes, hoping that he'll propose a solution to all of this.

"I don't know, I wish we can" he whispered.

"I hope you...sleep peacefully, I won't be t-there anymore to calm you down when you have nightmares" I said as you held onto his shirt tightly. Do I really have to let him go? Surely there are other ways so we can stay together.

"I wont be the one sleeping next to you. I won't be able to hold you close anymore" He just shook his head over and over again, not wanting to live a life like that.

"P-please be happy" I said as I cried harder in his embrace.

"Listen here okay? You will be the only person that can hold me, touch me, hug me, kiss me. I will not let anyone even breathe in my direction"  He cup my cheeks while also wiping my tears.

On a far away distance everyone was looking at you both with sadness and pity in their eyes. They want to do something, they're just not sure what to do.

"See what you did? You just ruined that perfect relationship that they have" Hange told Erwin emotionlessly. Hange has never stopped blaming Erwin for everything, she reminds him of that everyday.

"See that Petra? See how the captain looks at Y/n? Remember even if he marry you, he will never look at you the way he looks at Y/n" Mikasa whispered to Petra's ear coldly. She can be really scary.

"Mikasa that's enough" Armin said as he held Mikasa's arm, stopping her in case this all becomes a fight.

During this day, everyone saw it again, the love that filled the air for month. But this time, there's sadness and guilt mix in it.

Your friends and Hange know that Petra has always adored Levi. She was looking forward for tomorrow but she felt guilt rush over her when she saw how much you and Levi love each other.

Both you and Levi suffered alone when you guys found out the news that he's getting married, you didn't leave your quarters or even eat. While Levi took his anger out on the cadets, making them work harder than they ever did.
