Top of the class( Levi X Reader )

"Y/niieee, we have a meeting this afternoon" Hange shouted across the room, she's probably referring to the student council meeting. I was a new student like a couple of months ago and decided to join the student council. I'm the student council secretary, I basically became the replacement of their old secretary because she was lazy and dumb anyways

"Is everyone gonna be there?" I asked, well I was hoping that someone wouldn't show up, and that someone is my ex. Yes I transfered in the school that he goes to,not because I wanted to, I was forced to because this was the closest school in the new place that me and my family lives in

We didn't break up in a good way, we never had any closures or anything, it was a horrible break up. But luckily as time passes by I grew found of him being a part of my life again, and he's friend's kinda became my friends too, especially Hange

"Yeah everyone would be the- woah Levi you look sick, are you okay?" Hange worriedly asked when he sat beside me, yep we sit next to each other

"Dude she's right, you have thick eye bags" He rolled his eyes at us and laid his head down on the table, I put my arm on his neck and confirmed that he does have a fever

"Why still come to school when you're sick?" I asked and sipped on to my water while waiting for the teacher to come in and start the class

"Because I needed to study and have good grades so I can be the top 1" He's the top 2 and I'm the first one, I don't get why people find it hard to beat me when I don't even study that much

"Don't push yourself too hard on that, you'll beat me soon" I tried to cheer him up but he only shrugged, and the teacher came in so we started our class

"We'll have a quiz today so please do get your papers" Levi immediately then prepared while I shrugged and got my things too

Few minutes have pass and our teacher is checking our papers while we silently talk to each other to not disturb her

"How will did you guys do in the test?" Hange, who's behind me and Levi along with our other friend Erwin asked

"I didn't do that well, I forgot some" I honestly answered, sometimes I do forget some things but luckily its a multiple choice so I just put whatever feels like when I forgot something

"Really?" I saw how Levi's eyes sparkled at that, weird he really wants to he the top so bad that he becomes happy when I said that

"Okay, I'm finished checking your works, the person who have the highest grade is Y/n" The teacher smiled at me and my classmates congratulated me, even Levi. Though he seems dissapointed

"I thought you didn't do that well?" He asked and I shrugged before putting my things back to my bag as the teacher exited the class

"Yeah, luck I guess"

Its lunch time already and Levi is nowhere to be found, our last teacher was absent so he said he'll go the library to study so of course we agreed

"Why the heck is so obsessed with being the top" Hange said while eating her food, well he really wants to make his parents proud but at this point it's not healthy anymore

It's not just today, he has been on with this for months but I just didn't say anything because I didn't really mind, but at this point it's becoming toxic

"Found him" Erwin announced and dragged Levi with him who's grumbling when he sat down

"What am I supposed to do here? I forgot my lunch" I raised my brow at what he said and he only shrugged wtf? He knows that we have a long day in school since we have meeting but he didn't bring his lunch?

"You crazy? We have a long day today" Hange said and all of us agreed, Erwin is the president of the student council and Levi is the vice, I'm the secretary and Hange is the auditor so all of us need to go there

"I'm fine" I sarcastically laugh because of what he said because his obviously really pale, he must've starved himself again because he was too busy studying

I left them there alone as I proceeded to go to the canteen, I don't want to share my food with him because I've bitten some of it, it'll be embarrassing to share it with him so I'll just buy him a new one

"Here, eat that" I passed him the food that I brought and continued eating again, he tried to say something but I put my headphones in so he knows I won't listen anyways

"Is this what they call tough love?" I heard Erwin giggle. Levi only rolled his eyes and started eating his food

"So what's this meeting about?" I asked as I sat down on my sit. We aren't the one who called the meeting, the other members did because they said they need to discuss something important.

I sat in between Levi and Hange because it's arranged by roles, that's what they suggested anyways.

"Christmas is right around the corner, we want to know what your plans are" One of the members said. We looked at each other and tried to think of something.

"How about Christmas lights? Let's put it all over the school" Erwin suggested, some nodded but I shook my head grabbing their attention

"The electricity bill of the school will increase, how about let's just recycle some trash and make a decoration?" They looked at each other and thought about the idea for a second before agreeing

"Why are you so quiet-" I was cut off when Levi suddenly leaned on my chest, more like he fell down because he was freaking sleeping! He really should stop pushing himself to his limits or else he might kill himself doing that

"Should we-?" Hange asked while wiggling her eyebrows, the other also gave us the funny look and I shrugged

"Continue" I gently rub Levi's back so it can help him sleep better. I was now facing Erwin because if I face up front  Levi might wake up

"Okay then" Erwin clapped his hands and everyone went back to thinking ideas

"Sleep well" I kissed Levi's forehead and listened to the others discuss the plan
