𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢 𝐗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

By Your Side ( Sad Levi X Reader )

You dashed through the busy hallways of the HQ. All of you just got back from a mission a lot of people died. Including you boyfriend's squad they all got wiped out

"Levi?" You asked as you slowly open the door and closing it behind you

You look around the room, it was really dark and bottles are everywhere broken pieces of it too. You saw a shadow you sigh in relief when you saw him there on the corner drinking while sitting down

"Love" you said as you kneeled down in front of him

"Leave" he said while looking at you coldly

"Love stop drinking" you said as you tried to get the alcohol but he just push your hands away harshly

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE! DONT YOU GET IT?! I DONT WANT YOU HERE!" He shouted you'll admit you got scared but you tried to hide it

"No Levi, yell at me all you want, tell me harsh things, I am not leaving you alone. I know you're hurting Love, I'm here you can always talk to me about it" you said in a calm voice

He then let go of the alcohol and hug you tightly while crying on your shoulder

"I'm sorry I'm sorry... I didn't m-mean to shout a-at you" he said and you just rub his back calming him down

"It's okay, I understand" you said hugging him tighter

"I-i let all of t-them d-die... I'm a b-bad captain" he said as he hold onto you tighter while crying heavily

"Hey it's not your fault okay? No one knew it was gonna happen. Just think about it this way okay? They're finally free they don't need to keep fighting anymore" you said in a soothing voice

He didn't answer and just keep crying on your shoulders. You felt like he was getting sleepy so you guys went to his bed. You both laid there and cuddled each other  as you sleep in each other's embrace

You suddenly woke up when you felt someone crying, you look beside you and see Levi crying while closing his eyes tightly, he must be having a nightmare

"Love, Love wake up" you said as you gently shake him but nothing

"It's okay love, I'm here I'm here" you said shaking him a little bit strong this time

Suddenly Levi bolted up almost hitting your head in the process but luckily you dodge it

"Hey it's okay you're home, you're safe" you said as you cup his cheeks making him look at you

When he saw you he immediately hug you tightly it almost seems like his not planning on letting go anymore

"I-it was b-bad... I-i witnessed everyone d-dying...my f-friends...my comrades...and y-you" he said as he cried again holding you tighter

"I-i couldn't save y-you, y-you were s-screaming in p-pain. I-i tried my b-best but I was too l-late" he said as you just gently calmed him down

"I-i lost y-you...I d-dont want t-to...I don't w-want you to l-leave m-me" he said as he tighten the hug even more

"It's okay love, I'm okay see? Everyone is okay don't worry. I'm not leaving you Levi I promise" you said as you gently pull out on the hug but only to cup his cheeks

"B-but what if i-it comes t-true? W-what if y-you'll...die and I can't even...s-save you" he said with fear in his eyes

"Then I'll buy you time, I'll try to save myself. Love I am not leaving you okay? You already experienced too much cruelty in this world. I know me leaving you will only make it worse. That's why I'll do anything just to be here with you always. If I die I'll pull myself out of hell and be with you again" you said trying to calm his mind from overthinking

"Thank you, I really don't know what I'll do without y-you" he said as he hug you again and you gladly returned it

"Of course love, it's my duty to make you happy" you said as you kiss the top of his head

"I love you" he said making you froze

Levi rarely say those words to you, but when he does he really meant it

"I love you too"
