𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢 𝐗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

Long Lost Friend

"Commander, someone's up on the trees!"  I was stunned when I saw people on their way towards me. I was only sitting peacefully as I watched them get eaten by titans one by one.

I'm Y/n, I have lived outside of the walls for years now. I've learned how to survive alone and become a lot more stronger than I was before. I also fortunately got my hands on some ODM gears that I've kept safely hidden in places where I'm mostly in like the forests.

I used to live underground but escaped because I didn't like the way people lived and are being treated there. I knew the dangers that the outside holds but I didn't care and just ran straight through it.

"The hell" I stated before using my ODM gear to try and escape the people that are now chasing me.

"Stop right there!" Someone from the back shouted. I rolled my eyes and made a huge turn in the forest. I know that I'll be able to lose them quickly as my shirt is designed to be camouflage with the trees.

I was very confident that I'll be able to escape all of this and continue on with my life but I was shocked when I saw someone chasing after me.

Erwin...

I held my blades tighter and focused on how to escape from him. I no longer care about the others and only focused on him. I can't be like him

I was doing a pretty great job but not until someone suddenly appeared in front of me and held a blade against my neck. I froze, causing Erwin to catch up to me.

"Not bad Mikasa" He complimented the girl. I gritted my teeth as he held on my waist tightly, making sure that I don't run away.

"Who are you and why are you here?" He asked. I didn't answer and only shifted my gaze, looking all over the place, trying to find a escape.

It caused Erwin to get mad because I was way too silent. I originally planned on just staying quiet but a idea popped on my head, I smirked evilly and started my plan.

I started fake crying and made my body tremble, like I was afraid of him and the others. I noticed how his body tensed up a bit, my plan is working.

"I-im part of you g-guys. I-i was just r-resting. I'm sorry" I made sure to tremble and stutter when I delivered those words, making it more convincing.

I cried even harder making him panic, he didn't know what to do that's why slowly his hold on me loosened up. When I felt like I was able to get away, I didn't even waste any time and fired my ODM gear again. I was about to successfully run away when I bumped into someone again.

Luckily, whoever it was wrapped their hands around my waist that's why I didn't fall but I did harshly bumped into their chest.

"You! How dare you run away from us!" I could hear Erwins voice as I scratch my forehead, feeling the impact that it did with someone else just now.

"You bastard-" I was about to scold whoever caused me my plan to not work when I looked up and saw him.

"L-Levi...?" I was stunned and so was he. I quickly covered my mouth in shock as tears threatened to fall down my eyes.

"Thankfully Levi was able to stop you!" When Erwin and the others approached us he was shocked to see me tearing up but he quickly snapped and warned Levi.

"Levi, be careful. This might be one of her tricks-" I didn't even let him finish his sentence and just started hitting Levi while crying uncontrollably. They tried pulling me away from him but it was no use, I was purposely tightening my grip around the man.

"Hey! Help us here! Get her away from Levi!" Everyone rushed to help but Levi signalled all of them to stop. Erwin was confused but nonetheless listened to Levi.

Levi held me close to make sure that I don't fall down and die as we're feets below the ground.

"You said you'll come back for me you idiot!" I screamed at him when I got tired of hitting him. I laid my head on his chest and hugged him tight. He hugged me back and caressed my head.

"I'm glad you're safe. However, this is not the time nor the place for us to talk. Come with me" He held my hand and gestured me to follow where those guys are going. I looked behind and saw that Titans are now approaching.

Despite me being hesitant, I still followed them, or more like I followed Levi. I don't trust these people but I do trust Levi.

We soon arrived at their headquarters. I can feel that everyone we passed are looking at me, perhaps its because of how I look. I look so dirty because I practically covered myself in dirt everytime I go out just so it's easier to blend with nature.

Levi opened the door for me and I entered. It was a room with an office. It looks so clean and pristine inside, it also smells like tea and Levi.

"Is this your room?" I asked as he gestured me to sit on the coach which I did.

"Yes, this also serves as my office" I nodded and continued to look around the place, admiring it.

I was looking around when I suddenly felt him hug me, it took me by surprise but I did eventually hug him back.

"I'm so glad you survived" He whispered while desperately holding onto me, it's like he's afraid that if he'll let go I'll turn to dust.

"I am glad that you're alive too. All this time I thought you were gone, I thought I was alone" I bursted out crying again. That was also the reason why I lived outside the walls, I figured that if anything were to happen I wouldn't lose anything anyway.

"What happened to you?! Why were you outside the walls?!" He cupped my face and examined it closely. I did feel kind of insecure because my face and body had been covered in scratches.

"I have lived outside the walls two years after you guys got arrested by those people" I said with clear bitterness in my voice. If he hadn't been captured, we would all have been together.

"What?! Why?!" He asked with anger lingering in his voice.

"I thought you wouldn't come back for me anymore. I thought you were screwed. I thought they have feed you to those Titans. By the way? Where are our friends?" My last question shut Levi up. He didn't dare look at me. I connected the dots and tears started streaming down my face again.

"N-no... it can't be"

"I'm sorry, I couldn't protect them. We were hired by the corps to protect everyone inside the wall. It was okay at first, we even made plans on how we would save you down there. However, during one of our missions, it got ugly. The fog became a much larger issue than we expected, we were split from each other without even realizing it. I tried to save them, I tried to save them I swear but I was too late" He cried. He cried as he kneeled in front of me, asking for my forgiveness. I didn't know how to react, I just sat there, dumbfounded. They're gone? Our friend are gone?

I managed to collect myself and stopped myself from crying. I cleared my throat to get Levi's attention.

"Let me join you and we'll seek revenge against those monsters"
