Falling for you (Jeno)

I walked out of the building and already felt a bit dizzy. Ok, I was donating blood and I knew that I was not feeling too well afterwards anyways. But this was even more than usual. I took one step after the other, but I realized that this wouldn't work. "Can I help you?", I heard somebody behind me before everything went black.

I opened my eyes again and looked into another pair of eyes. They looked worried at me at first but when the owner realized I was awake again, they changed to curious and lively. They were intelligent. I inspected the rest of the face. It was a good-looking young man who now offered me a hand and helped me up to a sitting position again. "Are you ok?", he asked me. His hand rested on my back. A bit dizzy still I nodded. Then I realized something and looked at him: "Or rather – I might have bumped my head a bit heavier than I thought. I can't even feel that I fell." He chuckled: "That's a relief. I caught you." I blushed. "Oh...", I mumbled. He had a beautiful, infectious laugh. "Thanks...", I added. He smiled at me. "No worries", he answered and helped me up fully.

"I'm Jeno", he told me when we stood in front of each other. "Katy", I replied. "Nice to meet you", he went on and I felt a bit of my usual shyness falling off. This guy had something that made me feel immediately comfortable. I decided to like him. Suddenly I realized he still went on talking and tried to focus again. "And that is why", he just ended. Wait. What did he say? "Ah", I answered and hoped that this was enough of an answer. Luckily, he went with it.

"So... Since I have time now... Should I accompany you home? Just in case you faint again? Or is that a suspicious offer by a young, maybe dangerous man like me?", he asked. I eyed him shortly. He didn't seem dangerous. Not in the classic way at least. And it was bright day, the way home was not through a forest or anything. I decided to try it. "I would appreciate it", I answered.

On the way home – which was way too short in my opinion – we talked, laughed and I started to like him a lot. We joked around and when I was in front of my door, he shyly lowered his eyes and mumbled: "Uhm... One more question." "Yes?", I encouraged him. He looked back up and grinned again. I had to grin along. "Don't you owe me for catching you? How about grabbing some coffee some day?", he asked. I looked at him surprised but soon my smile deepend. "Sure!", I said a bit too enthusiastic. He laughed and then we exchanged numbers. Jeno waited until I entered my apartment. I watched him leave and thought by myself that it maybe wasn't too bad to faint sometimes. I was looking forward to where this could lead. Maybe after the fainting there will be a falling as well.
