Lights! Music! Q! (Sunwoo)

I scoffed my feet, not caring if anyone could get bothered by the loud sound. I was in a bad mood. I just had been getting told off by my boss for something I didn't even do. And on top of that I was hungry and low on sugar. A deadly combination. At least, I would be home soon and could just forget about the day. I walked around the next corner.

"AH!" A high-pitched and incredibly loud scream followed by a ghost's face greeted me. I screamed back in shock. My fight or flee instinct yelled at me to freaking run. I turned around and ran against something. Someone, I figured a second later. Fight or flee? Wait, flee didn't work right now and this guy still held onto me, clearly surprised as well. And it's a guy, not a ghost. Fight it is. I punched him. "Ow! Hey! What the heck?", he protested and let go off me. Better. "Oh my gosh, sorry", somebody behind us laughed. I turned around, ready to punch the next person. But my jaw dropped as I saw who it was.

"Changmin! What in the world was that!", I exclaimed angrily. "Katy? No way! That's too funny! Sorry, I wanted to scare Sunwoo", he went on laughing and pointed at the guy I had punched earlier. "Yeah, thanks, I still got shocked by her", this one protested and pointed towards me, "Who even is she, Q?" "Q?", I asked and looked back and forth between them. Changmin's laugh intensified. "Changmin!", I scolded him once more and glared at him. Slowly he calmed down and introduced us: "Sunwoo, that is Katy, an old friend from school; Katy, that is Sunwoo, a good friend of mine. And just so you know: Q is my stage name." Stage name? Right, he always talked about wanting to be an idol. I turned to the guy called Sunwoo. "Uhm... Hi?", I said. "Hi", he answered and rubbed his cheek right where my hand had met his face as he went on: "Why exactly did you slap me?" "Fight or flee instincts?", I smiled innocently, "Sorry for that though..." "Ha, she wanted to flee from me, but was confident to fight you", Changmin grinned. "You had a freaking ghost's mask over your face!", I protested, heart slowly calming down, "And he also held onto me; I couldn't have fled!" "Exactly", Sunwoo agreed and turned to me, "I wanted to avoid a collision between us." "Oh. Thanks...?", I replied and blushed. "No worries", he shrugged it off, "I would have done the same." I grinned. "May I make up for the punch with buying you a coffee?", I asked but he shook his head. "If anyone then it's Q who should buy both of us a coffee", he grinned. "That's also a very good idea", I agreed smirking and turned back to my old friend who just wiped the tears he had laughed. "Alright", this one sighed, "It's worth the fun I had."

A few minutes later we sat in a café and drank our coffee. "I could get used to be treated a coffee after every single one of your scares", Sunwoo grinned at Changmin and I laughed knowingly: "Is he that bad?" "Worse", Sunwoo shrugged. "Changmin. You should behave", I scolded the culprit. "But it is so much fun", this one smiled so innocently that I almost would have forgiven him everything he'd ever done. Smiling, I shook my head: "You're really something else." "You could say that", Sunwoo laughed. We went on chatting for a while until Changmin's phone dinged. He looked at it and then back up at Sunwoo: "Gotta go, the others are already waiting for us." Sighing, Sunwoo got up and looked at me. "It was an honour getting to know you", he smiled and bowed elegantly. I chuckled and blushed: "Likewise." We said our goodbyes and I finally left for my home.

The same day, a little later I got a message. I was surprised to see Changmin texting me. As I opened it, I was even more confused.

Changmin:
"I figured you guys might want to have each other's number"

He had attached a contact called "Sunwoo" underneath. Just a few seconds later, I got a new message. I was still pondering what to text Sunwoo.

Sunwoo:
"Hi there. It's Sunwoo."

Excited I texted back.

Katy:
"Hi. Nice to text you :D"

Sunwoo:
"Likewise :D Mind going out for a coffee with me another time? Without Q? Just us?"

Now this was straight-forward. But I liked it when someone was like this.

Katy:
"Absolutely don't mind."

Sunwoo:
"Cool. Let's meet tomorrow then?"

Katy:
"Sure."

So tomorrow. I couldn't wait for it. My phone dinged again.

Changmin:
"Why the heck is Sunwoo jumping up and down, clapping excitedly like a little kid?"

I grinned. I was about to do the same just now.

Katy:
"Who knows...?"

Well. I knew. But that was our secret for now...
