Chapter 38

My room was mesmerising, i was under the sea with fish and other sea creatures moving around. It somehow gave me a little bit of relief. I was on my bed with just my singlet and short short, because i don't think tonight i will be going out because clearly i was not near done with that damn file.

I put my head on the pillow and scream. Even witht he noted and the audio recording, it was quite hard to make out words when they and sound like bees.

There was a knock on my door, stood up and went to get it. It was the Devil, he was smirking.

"What do you want?"i asked.

He gently pushed me aside and eyed me up and down.

I crossed my arms on why chest. His eyes turn dark. He inhaled sharply.

"Are you done with the file?". He asked.

"You don't need to worry SIR i will get it done for you in time go enjoy your party" i shoo him. After the meeting, there was a party held for the partnership.

He was about to say something when there was another knock on the door. I was about to open the door whe the Devil beat me to it.

"What the hell are you doing here" he hissed in anger.

It was hard to see who it was because the Devil was practically covering the door frame. I tiptoed and lift my head and saw Noah.

"What was he doing here" i meantally thought.

"I might ask you the same question cousin what are you doing here?" Said Noah in his calm voice.

"None of you business" the Devil almost yelled.

"Well i came to see if Bella was okay because she is not a the party" Noah replied trying to look for me. Before Noah sees me, the Devil shoved me behind him, he turned around and with red angry eyes he eyes me up and down. Which made me look down at myself and my eyes widden.

I was in a low low cut singlet and some short shorts. I quickly grab a robe and tie it around me.

After being decent, i walk to the door and talk to Noah, "I'm fine, just some paperwork need to be rectify" smile.

"See she is fine now go away" he grit his teeth.

"I need to speak to her, just a few second business related only" Noah replied.

Debating to declined, it might me important.

"Fine you got 2 minutes" i replied.

The Devil just stormed out of the room bumping hardly with Noah shoulder.

"I apologised for Mr Devin's behaviour sir." I replied in a small voice.

"Its okay, Mathias can be a bit " he paused a bit and i finished " abit of a Devil sometimes" i smile.

Which made him laughed. "Sorry to disturbed you, i knew Mathias would make you drown yourself in work so that you do not go to the party. Here!" He passed me a pendrive.

"Its the meeting recording with video images might help you with the file" he smile turning around.

"Thanks you so much Sir" i replied.

"Please call me Noah" with that he turned around.

In 30 mintues the files was done. Which would have easily took me the whole nigjt to do was done in 30 mintues thanks to Noah.

I laid down on my bed staring at the bright blue sea with multi cloured fish swimming i sigh in contant.

I didn't wanted to go to the party so, i got dress in a summer dress with was off shoulder.
