Chapter 33

It's was a shitty week, the Devil was worst than ever. It's a very important day, our most valuable project was about to get sign. So the Devil was crankier than normal.

I work up with some good smelling pancakes. Rushing downstairs I saw Catty with a suitcase ready to go.

I took a piece of pancake and rush to hug her.

"Please don't leave me all alone here " I pleade almost crying.

"You serious girl I'll be back in one week so chill out. It's not every day your bestie is getting the opportunity to Paris for a fashion show collab" she laughed.

I know I was being a little bit crazy but she was going.

I did my pout lip "I be all alone even that stupid Dean is going out of town" I huffed.

"You know, he asked you to tag along" she rise her eyebrows.

"What Dean and his group of hooligan no thanks I will be better here" I tick by tongue.

"Alrighty I've get going see you, love you take care" she kiss my head stuffing my face with pancakes.

"I love you too take care, see you in 1 week not more" I smile at her.

After she left, I quickly got ready and went to the Devil house. Made his breakfast and rushed outside, I know he will kill me for not eating with him whatever. I got so many thing to do at work for the project.

Rushing inside the office, I greeted everyone. I made my way to the printing room print all the documents out, sorted the refreshments and snacks. The meeting room was ready.

My office buzzed "Office Now".

"Well morning to you too Devil" I wispered.

Knocking on the door, I went inside after hearing the "Come in".

"Morning Matt, today debriefing the big project meeting is at 10.30, I've already arrange all the necessities and essential in the boarding room" I was about to continue when he stopped me.

"Where the hell were you?" he grind his teeth.

"Hmm here!" I said hesitatly.

He was about to say something when Laurent came bursting through the door.

"Morning" i greet Laurent.

"Excuse me sir, I will get going, will you have anything to drink or eat?"

"No thank you, so are you ready for today's meeting?" Asked Laurent.

"We are ready " I smile.

"Go Ms Wilson we do not need anything". He said angrily.

Fast forword, the project was a success.

There was a quick meeting for all the employees. At the head was, the Devil Laurent and Mr Richard and his son Josh the new investors. Josh was a little bit too friendly with me to my liking. So I tried to keep as far as possible from him.

Laurent was giving a speech thanking Mr Richard for accepting there proposal and stuff. The Devil was just standing there commenting only when necessary.
