The big boss is coming in today, and Bella had one last chance to redeem herself at work.
The doors open like in the movies as if a royalty is about to get in. The atmosphere changed. All the customers' eyes were on him, and people began to whisper...
It was five o'clock in the morning, i look myself into the rear mirror of my car and fix my soft wavy hair.
Today i wore a high waisted pants with a plane button up white shirt and a black blazers on. Finished with my black high heel shoes.
Parking infront of his house, It was raining cat and dog today "damn you Devil," i growled underneath my breath.
If you wondering how i knew his house let me tell you that the Devil decided to text me his address at 2 am.
Anyways, making my way towards the gates , i buzzed the intercom.
"I'm Annabella Wilson and Mr.Devin is expecting me".
With that the gate automatically opens.
Making my way inside, i saw his house and damn me that was some for the eye.
I park my car and took my umbrella out. I stood by the door which was guarded by a tall and muscular with hard features. Green eyes and greyish hair and a long scar across his mouth. He was scary.
"Good morning , i'm Annabella Wilson the PA of Mr. Devin. Im here to see the boss" i said with a small smile.
"Morning mam I'm Ross" he replied with a very hard voice which can make anyone pee their pants.
He open the door for me. I gave him my umbrella who was pink with daisy flower. I sure he looked funny a tough guy with a cute umbrella.
Shaking my head, i rush inside and hang my blazer near the door.
I walk inside and couldn't help but notice the interior of it..
It looked like a cut out from Architects Today magazine. It was beautiful. but not in the olde-worlde quaint kind of way I was usually drawn to. The house was new. Very new. It looked like it had been finished last week.
It was as if it had rolled off a production line, but they had forgotten to apply the mandatory layer of color to it. The windows were huge and seemingly inspired by something truly alien. Anyone could see into the house from an uncomfortable distance. From where i was , i could see surfaces of white, glossy plastic that iced over the kitchen, granite enforced the walls in their straight, uninspired monotony. There wasn't a single square meter of organic material in sight. Not even a comforting wallpaper that imitated warmth in some way. The house, it seems, was a livable, modern mausoleum.
I was the the living-dining-kitchen area is one spacious area with unbelievable long range mountain views from every spot. Vaulted wood ceilings, comfortable and quality furnishings, and plenty of amenities make for total relaxation.
The kitchen is an open galley style with a 12 foot long x 4 foot deep granite island. Top quality appliances, storage galore, all the cooking utensils you would find at home, and fabulous views promise you will enjoy preparing your favorite meals.
The dining area is surrounded by glass walls, bringing the outside in. The beautiful custom table expands to seat 10; stools at the island offer additional seating for 4.
The living room has a wood burning fireplace, beverage center with undercounter refrigerator, sound system with speakers throughout the house, and comfortable seating for seven or more.
I was in love with this house.
