Cast and Prologue

"Things are really intense for you right now, aren't they, Walker?"

Bucky and John challenged each other with their eyes. The former was smug and enjoying the thought of putting pressure on the latter man.

Sam sighed and stepped between them with a calming presence.

"Take it easy. Look, Walker's right. It's imperative that we find and stop Karli and the rest of her followers," he turned to face the opposite pair, "But you guys have rules of engagement and all kinds of authorizations you have to get. But we're free agents and we're more flexible. So it wouldn't make sense to work with you."

He gestured for Bucky to start walking away. But as they did, Walker called out for them to stop.

"A word of advice, then...stay the hell out of my way."

Sam and Bucky stood baffled as Walker and Lemar walked away. Bucky was the first to turn around and leave the scene. Sam followed quickly to calm him down.

"So what are you thinking?" he asked.

"Hydra."

Sam stopped in his spot. Bucky took a few more steps before glancing back and halting as well.

"You're kidding, right?"

Bucky shook his head, "I have contacts there and you already know one."

Sam scoffed and rolled his eyes. He placed his hands on his hips and shook his head vehemently.

"You really wanna sit down and talk to him?"

Bucky grimly nodded and kept walking. Sam sighed and followed, conceding to the idea.

"Fine. We'll talk to Zemo."

Bucky sighed and mumbled a thank you. Sam shoved his hands in his pockets.

"What other contacts do you have?" he asked, "I'm hoping for someone who's not a psycho."

Bucky scoffed and shrugged lightly. He thought back to one person he knew was perfect for any job, any mission. As the Winter Soldier, she was the primary target for a majority of his missions. And if she could avoid Hydra, she could surely avoid the government.

"I know one. But she's not exactly a pacifist."

"I think we're way past that."

They both laughed lightly and nodded their heads in agreement.

"Tell me about her."

Bucky sighed and thought really hard on the perfect words to describe her.

"She's dangerous and a pain in the ass."

Sam smiled in fake delight,

"Perfect."
