Y/N POV

"Please, Y/N, come with us, and we'll explain everything, but we need to get you to a safe place, like, right now" says Jade.

I don't know whether to go with them or not. This seems like a joke, but if it isn't... I decide to go along with it... for now.

"Can't you explain it to me here?" I ask. There are lots of people, so if I got attacked, someone could interfere.

"Y/N, we know somewhere you will be safe, I pinky swear. And we need to get you there, right now"

The urgency in his voice is what convinces me. I get up.

"Follow me", he says.

We walk out of the library, trying to look casual while speed walking. Once we're outside, Chase and Jade start to run. There is traffic and lots of people, but I run with them.

"Y/N, we will explain soon, just a little longer" says Jade.

I'm still wary of going with these people, but they do sound genuine.

Not too long later, Chase stops, and walks into a bar. A sign on the top reads 'Homeland Bar'. It's small enough, with stone walls and ivy covering most of them. It looks ancient.

Chase walks in, Jade follows, then I do. Because Jade walking in front of me, I notice that she walks with a sense of elegance and balance in her steps. We walk into a dimly lit room, with a wood floor and dark walls. There are tables scattered all around the place, and a few people sit at some. To the right, there is a counter where an ancient looking bartender stands. Chase leans his elbow on the counter.

"Hey, Mister Aldane. The weather outside is beautiful, isn't it? But I think there's a slight chance o' rain" Why is he making a conversation? I thought we needed to go to a safe place quickly, I think. I suddenly get terrified that they were lying, and I'm about about to get out of the bar, but then Mister Aldane looks at us, and gestures for us to follow him. He is quite short, with grey hair and lots of wrinkles, but somehow he looks kind.

Jade whispers to me. "It's code. Just follow Mister Aldane" she smiles, as if it all makes sense.

He takes us to a door behind the counter, and opens it. He doesn't go in, instead he waits beside the door and Chase confidently walks in first, Jade lets me go in before her.

We walk through a dark hallway, and after a few seconds I see light pouring into the hallway through a hole. Once I get closer, I realise it's a doorframe.

Chase steps out, and I follow, shocked with what I see. Vast fields of multicoloured flowers stretch across picturesque land, with a huge building standing in the middle, and few other smaller ones dotted around the place.

I couldn't even find any words to say. Chase turns around to face me, and grins. "This is the Homeland, where Progenies like us go when we need to"
