Y/N POV

The Tiger Progeny. The words echo in my head, and for some reason it makes me feel like I fit in.

"So... what was the deal with that place?" I ask.

"Well, it would've been easier and less stressful if you would've let me explain" says Jade, and I feel bad for that. She was only trying to help.

"Giver her a break, Jade. She probably would have forgotten anyway, when she went in" Jade uncrosses her arms and sighs.

"I'm sorry" I say.

"'s fine" says Jade. "Anyway, it's said that in that forest place you go to, the spirits of the Progenitors live there, their souls in their respective animals. So, they come and see if they sense a connection with you one by one, until they find one. But, if they've already found their Progeny, they won't come out any more, and people believe that they kinda watch over their Progeny. For example, I had the connection with the Black Cat Progenitor, so now it doesn't come out any more. But yeah, that place is kind of a mystery still, even to Master Vole. Also, it relocates the sun to shine through the Progenitors' respective window"

It's a lot to take in. I decide I need to get back, and see Lia and Adrien.

"I think I'm going to go back to... Earth now"

"Well, this is Earth" laughs Chase. "But yeah, I get what you mean", suddenly his expression turns grave, and I notice Jade and Chase sharing a concerned glance.

"What is it?" I ask.

"See... it wouldn't be wise to go out there" starts Jade. "We don't know how, but for some reason the Master knows your identity, and that you're a Progeny"

It suddenly all hits me. Those attacks on me, they must have been some sort of... tests. That's why they would smile and leave, rather than try to kill or hurt me, because they knew I was a Progeny. And the way my phone and bag were stolen, that's how they know my identity!

This realisation terrifies me, but at the same time, in some sort of twisted way, it's almost a relief. I now know why they weren't really trying to hurt me, and I don't have to lie awake at night think or worrying about it anymore.

"Please, I just need to go see my friends, I'll be careful"

Jade looks at me skeptically. "I don't think you can do that, the Master has his... ways of tracking people down"

"I swear I will be so careful"

I can see in Jade's eyes that she is going to say no, but before she can say anything, Chase starts "Let her, but hide your face and don't go to your apartment 'cuz he knows where you live. Also, come back here when you're finished"

"I will. Also am I able to tell people about... well, all this?" and I gesture around us to the fields surrounding us.

"Noo, most definitely not" says Jade. "If the words spreads about Progenies and who we are, the Master will track us down"

I sigh. "Okay, I won't tell" I say. "So, how do I get outta here?" I ask.

"Look around, Y/N, notice anything about the flowers?" asks Jade.

At first, I don't notice anything. Then, I see that the flowers are multicoloured, but to my left, there is a line of them only in purple.

"I'm guessing I follow the purple ones?"

"Correct!" says Chase. "Come back soon!"

After 2 minutes of walking, I reach the end. There, I see the door we came through, an ancient looking wood one, except it's locked.

I suddenly hear someone behind me. "Hey!" says a voice, out of breath.

I turn around, and Chase is there. "Sorry, forgot to tell you about this part. Just say 'Bar, London'"

"Thanks!" I say. He smiles. "Well, I'm gonna get back to Jade. See ya!"

I turn, say the words, and I'm back in the Homeland Bar. First thing I need to do is find Adrien and Lia.
