"I taught you to fly i knew you'd be okay." he smirked.

Here's the story between dear Alec and i. He was also the product of a fallen angel and a human get together. Although he was three years older than me, but acted as if he was younger.

Four years ago he filled my head that the world had more to offer than our own home. so he convinced me to runaway. Out there i realized....things are just worse. Atleast here im safe. The experience ended with him bringing me home to get help for how wounded i became. It earned us a beating and me working over time and getting a tracking device.

"I'll kill you!" i growled rising to his level.

"i know all of your moves princess, i taught them to you." He teased.

I barrelled towards him, but at the last moment he moved. He chuckled like it was nothing.

I was now several feet above him so i dived after him. He flew left and i followed.

"You're going to have to do better than that!" he laughed and made sharp turns around the tints startling customers. Our mistress would have our heads.

To my surprise rather than flying away he turned around and encircled me in his arms.

"I'm still mad at you." i seethed.

"Your fine. I wasn't going to let you fall."

i rolled my eyes. I tried to stay mad but being close to him felt good. Like old times. He grabbed a hold of my chin and tilted it up.

"I miss you. The old you,the fun one."

"There's nothing diffrent about me." i said sternly.

"You use to hate it here but now...you've come to accept it." He shook his head sadly.

"Because its all i can do!"

"Life isn't this!"

"Well what is it!" i yelled.

"I don't know, but its not having sex with strangers your whole life and then being drained or killed when you're to old." he crushed me to him.

I bit my lip. I knew my faith. Once i wasn't needed a vampire would pay cheap to suck all of the blood out of me. For some woman that could be fourties or fifties, even to some sick little kids who weren't going to make it. i cringed at the thought.

"I still love you Jothi. Nothing can change that."

i rested my head on his chest and relaxed.

"Please don't stay here." he whispered.

i slowly sunk back to the earth to finish my night shift.

Before i could get to far Alec grabbed my hand.

"If you want freedom so bad go get it on your own." i snapped in a whisper.

"I'm not leaving here without you."

"Alecsander!" A voice called.

He jerked away from me.

Our madame came towards us escorting a young woman. She had to be of mid- to late twenties.

"What about this one." she motioned towards Alec. He paled.

"He's a cutie." She smiled no shame in her fangs.

"can we talk a sale?" Madame took a puff from her cigar. I couldn't tell what was choking me more. The cigar or the selling of the closest person to me.
