"16....17....18...19..........20!" I yelled to the empty room. Of course no one would be hiding here...or would they ?

"Ready or not here i come!" I called again.

Not the smallest sound. When i was little it was way easier because people use to giggle or make noise. Yet, no i was playing with vamps and sneaky girls.

Great.

I checked Ariel's bathroom, under her bed, in her bed, behind the furniture, in the walk in closet. No one.

With how huge this castle was they could be anywhere ! I looked both ways down the halls and randomly picked. With the direction i was going, i was going to check Tali's room.

Swinging open the door i checked the sane main hiding places. No one. The extremely vibrant colors were hurting my eyes anyways.

Next was Ariel's library. Surely someone would hide there. I came in and locked the door behind me.

I walked around pretending to not know the ultimate hiding place. I hummed walking around the desk and rows of bookcases.

Finally i walked to the door to go back to the hall way.

"Before i go, Candy and Sasha, you guys have to come too." i called.

They swore and muttered, but followed quietly.

Candy's pink and Sasha's brunette hair were an easy find in Ariel's all white room.

Next i wanted to check the ballroom. The large christmas trees sounded promising.

Skipping around the decorative sea of boxes i checked around, in and under the tree. No one. Although i could be wrong for opening a gift early that wasn't addressed to me i listened closely to the biggest box.

Lifting the huge box was easy, but then again i had really good strength. Sitting it down kinda hard i listened closely again.

A quickened heart beat. It was so weird to hear it. I never heard something so loud. I took such interest i forgot what i was doing.

"Can you hurry up? Why are you listening to a box anyways?" Candy whined.

It hit my ears so strongly i covered my ears. Then, all of a sudden, there voices were there normal whiney selves again. Though i could no longer hear the heart beat.

What was wrong with me?

I brushed it off and opened the box to find Victoria.

She quickly put the original gift back in and joined the entourage.

When Candy and Sasha fell behind us a few feet i questioned Victoria.

"Victoria?" i whispered.

"Yes?" she replied keeping pace with me.

The way she walked looked grandly and had an old queen look to it. She looked so relaxed and graceful, but dainty and strong. I couldn't help but admire it.

"When humans ingest vampire blood....what happens?" i asked.

Although its been a month maybe I'm just now experiencing the affects of Christopher's blood. Or maybe Ariel's.

"They become....high. Its like a drug. In the right amounts in can do anything really. Be a drug, heal, cause a loyal bond, start a mating if they are true mates, kill a werewolf, turn a human and even keep them alive up to triple there normal lifespand." she smiled.

"Ok. What if u had vampire blood from two different vampires?"I asked.

She looked taken back and thought for a minute.
