It seemed as if the whole party's eyes were on me. i felt like a wild animal on display. They gawked and whispered as i walked down. I picked my head up as Ariel once instructed.

i should have kept watching my steps.

my foot slipped on the last step and i should have did a face plant. Except strong arms caught me at ease.

"Are you okay?" True concern and humor covered his face.

He was handsome i'd give him that. Brown curly hair, striking blue eyes that could pass for gray, a lean muscular build and a dimple.

i gawked for a moment the collected myself. i got up and stepped away from him.

His smile fell.

"Are you okay?" he asked again.

"I'm fine." i stepped away from what i knew was a monster.

He was probably compelling what i thought of him!

"what's your name?" he asked.

Before i could reply back something snappy Ariel stepped in.

"Jothi Angel. But i was thinking something along the lines of Jothiana Marrigold Elizabeth Angel." she moved her arms above her as if she could see it in lights.

i didn't see anything.

Christopher gave her a quizzical look.

"We can't just go around changing names Arie." he raised a brow at me. "unless you want to..."

i could tell in his voice he knew i'd say no. As if he knew me. I didn't want to associate with there kind nor be near them. Especially not related or friends with.

I walked away to the farthest corner of the room. His royal highness watched me go...or maybe he watched my.....

either way his kind only want one thing.

I missed Tali's royal entrance.

Yet i did see her join hands with the king. Ariel encouraged them to dance. i watched while nibbling on food.
