I opened my eyes to see Ariel at her desk working on the laptop and reading.

"Nice to see your awake." she smiled up at me. "lunch is infront of you."

As she just said there was a silver tray. she watched as i stuffed my face.

"You know It'd be better if we kept you on a steady diet. I don't want you gaining weight just because your not used to eating."

I rolled my eyes.

"Anymore plans for today ?" i asked savoring the taste of turkey.

"Not really. Two more feedings- oh yes! A martial art class!" she said excitedly.

"Why would i need that?" i asked.

she, for once, rolled her eyes.

"I need you in top fighting shape. Vampires are very hard to kill and i need you to know how."

i thought about actually going through with her crazy plan. i may have hated vamps but did i really have it in me to kill one?

"What if i can't do it?" i asked.

"You'll be taking these sessions for two years before you may use it. You will be prepared." she said assured of herself.

i felt sick to my stomach.

"You are excused." she waved me off.

i left without another word. What she wanted me to do was...Crazy! He was her brother ! Would Tali and i ever turn on each other like this?

i ran smack into a wall. Until it caught me.

He chuckled.

"We keep meeting like this." Christopher helped me up right.

"I'm just clumsy." i said quickly trying to make my way around him.

He stepped infront of me again. I frowned.

"Did i do something to you?" he asked. His face concerned, as if he had feelings.

"No." i crossed my arms and tried to get around him.

"Wait!" he grabbed my arm and i jumped away.

"What do you want with me?" i turned on him.

i knew Ariel would kill me for ruining this opportunity but...i couldn't.

"I wanted to get to know you." he growled.

i sighed. "I'm sorry ok. Its been a rough week." i shrugged.

His expression softened like i knew it would.

"I'm sorry about that. Would you like to leave the castle for a while?" he asked.

"where are we going?"i asked slightly curious.

I'd take just about any opportunity to leave this place. Then again could i trust him?

"A meeting with the council. it'll be in town today." he smiled.

"Why would i go to something like that?" i frowned.

A gathering of old vampires? I rather lock myself in my room.

"Its not as boring as you may think." He assured.

"oh really ?" i i rolled my eyes.

"Its...interesting. And torture if i have to go alone." he made a slight pout face and i couldn't help it.

i giggled.

"i guess I'm free this evening." i shrugged.

"Great. Come on the limo is waiting." he held out his hand to me. i didn't take it.

"What about Tali?" i asked looking around.

where did she go?

"She's asleep in her room." he pointed upstairs.

"oh. ok." i follwed him down stairs and outside.

i took a deep breath of fresh air. its been forever since I've been outside. i then took a seat beside Christopher In the back of the limo.
