Amber had me go through the normal routine of a bath, waxing, hair but then i stopped her makeup.

"I don't need any today." I didn't want any extra attention.

From anyone.

"Breakfast will be in the dining room today." she told me.

"Well i won't be going." I pouted sitting on my bed.

"The king has requested it." She said shyly.

I did a face plant into my pillow and groaned. Now i couldn't hide from anybody.

I trudged slowly down the hall and the stair case. Ariel was already seated fussing over her phone.

She looked up and smiled.

"I have a present for you." She held up her high tech cell.

I sat across from her and she slid it to me.

"You do know how to use one don't you?" She asked texting on her own.

"An iphone ? Sure." I said meakly.

We didn't have phones back home. Although i have used and owned one before.

"An iPhone ?" She laughed. "You mean an IPhone 54. Holigraphics are more realistic, glass is more indestructible, 1000 gb,front and back camera, 23 hour battery life, and all of our contacts are already installed. Your welcome."

Christopher practically ran down the stairs to me.

'Please leave me alone' I thought with a role of my eyes.

A deep sigh came to mind. I jumped slightly and turned to him.

'If you wish.' he sat at the head of the table and Tali sat on his other side.

"So i was thinking, since you took Jothi last time, that today i could go to the meeting?" Tali asked.

The servants came with our breakfast. Omlets, bacon, sausage, toast, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, fruit, muffins, orange juice, milk and blood.

In addition to the blood vampires need a ton of calories to balance out there diet of little blood.

"Actually the meeting has been cancelled until after new years." He mumbled pushing around his food.

"Chrissy I made the list for the parties." Ariel pipped.

"Parties?" Tali questioned.

"Yes. The Christmas ball, new years party they're really big and elite." She texted amazingly fast as she talked. "Only 500 of the most important vampires."

I finished eating before everyone else and excused myself.

I dragged my feet walking. No real destinations in mind. my room was just another cage. Switched from one prison to another. Now i couldn't even pick who i loved?

I found myself in the same room from yesterday. I slammed the door.

I was stuck here. Forever. Now i could never leave. i slid down the wall and covered my face. Alec should have been here. He shouldn't have left me.

"Who's Alec?" Christopher asked crouching beside me.

I pathetically wiped my face.

"No one." i snapped. "How did you know i was here?" i asked changing subjects.

"Your crying and anger....and you kept saying his name." He sat beside me and looked away. "You say it in your sleep too." He blinked a few times.

I didn't say anything. After a while he did.

"Did you....did you love him?" he asked hesitantly.

"Something like that." i looked away.

"I've waited...years to find you." He ran a hand through his messy hair pulling it.

"It didn't seem like it all those nights you've spent with Tali." i snapped.

He growled. "I have been alive 119 years. You wanted me to wait-" i cut him off.

"You said you were." i shook my head. "All of you are the same." i muttered.

"Excuse me? All of us?" He hissed.

"Vampires! All you want is sex!" i hit my hand against the wall.

His face softened and was replaced with a cocky one.

"You're- are you jealous ?" he smirked.

"What?! No!" I yelled standing.

"Yesterday you let me kiss you. Then you ran off upset." he stood too.

"Well you aren't the greatest of kissers." i lied crossing my arms.

"You dirty liar. I'm perfect for you." he grinned.

"Please. Cocky much?" i rolled my eyes.

"Hot headed." he came closer slowly.

"Flirt." I said crossing my arms.

"Flirt?" he questioned.

"Is schmoozer better?" i shot back.

he was now standing close to me.

"mine." he whispered. "You have to let me mate with you." he sighed.

"Why?" i asked angrily.

"So people know your mine." he carressed my cheek.

"Will anyone else know?" i asked.

His eyes widened.

"Is that why your upset? You don't want people to know?" he hissed stepping away.

"I was just asking." i shrugged.

he sighed deeply. "I want you to mate with me."

"Christopher-"

He kissed me. I felt on fire everywhere he touched. He leaned one hand on the wall behind me while the other knotted in my hair.

"Please Jothi." he pleaded pulling away.

Our eyes held each others for a while. When i closed my eyes i no longer saw alec. I saw Christopher.

Mine associated itself with his name now. A part of me hurt for losing my last piece of him.

He saw the decision in my eyes before i said it. He slowly bit down into my neck.

I bit back a Yelp. As quickly as the pain started it was replaced by pure pleasure. Ariel's feedings couldn't hold a candle to this one. It was better than anything before.
