"Chris!!?" I yelled running through the colorful tints.
He was running to fast and I was crying. It was going to happen again.
"Jothi?" He said unsure.
I pumped my legs harder but that seemed to make them slow down. I saw the bullet tear into him again and screamed.

"Jo? Jo!! Your going to wakeup the whole compound! Wakeup." Hakeem shook me.
My heart was beating hard as I released my grip on the bed sheets.
"Chris..." I gasped looking up at hakeem.
The room was dark but i could still make out his sleep deprived face. His eyes softened as he sat on the bed beside me.
"He's OK Jo. It was a nightmare." He reassured.
"What if he's hurt?" I asked unsure.
"You'd know." He replied then fell back asleep beside me.
Chris
I massaged my temples at my desk. I was nothing like my parents. They both had children outside of their marriage. Michael was an example of that. How could I have done this?
Because your selfish. You didn't expect to find your mate.
How could I do this to my Jothi? Would she even still want me?
Ariel walked in to my private study with Tali following.
"We have great news to tell you Ariel!" Tali said excitedly.
I inwardly groaned as my little sister looked between us.
"Chris and I are expecting!"
Her brown eyes grew big and round. I wanted so desperately to explain the situation, but what would I say? She was the closest piece of ass?
"What? Why? How...how could you ?" Ariel's face was of utter shock and anger.
"Arie it isn't what your thinking. We can't be sure-" I pleaded before being cut off by Tali.
Does she ever shut up?
"I'm sure. I should be almost three months along." she chirped.
"You aren't even showing!" I fired back rather childishly.
she placed her hands on to her still flat torso.
"The royal doctors say that sometimes it takes time for a pregnant woman to show. If I ever do that is."
I lunged at her but at the last moment Ariel was in front of me to stop it.
"She's a liar! I want to see the tests and the paternity test!" I snarled even though it unnerved Tali.
"Fine." she said cooly her mood souring. "If I prove you wrong you do something for me."
"Never you conniving-" for the second time I was cut off.
This time it was Ari who hushed me. I could see she was calculating her next move. No matter how much I loved to think of her as a little girl she had truly grown up. Not so much on the outside more so in grace and smarts.
"What do you want from us? I took you in trying to play match maker for my older brother. It worked and it wasn't you. Your lucky we don't make you leave." She replied quite calmly.
