chapter 19

Back in the castle Christopher and i talked heatidly about how the vote could sway.

"Christopher !" Tali called from the stair case. Ariel kept pace behind her.

"Where have you been ?! I woke up and you werent there." she threw herself into his arms.

My stomach twisted. I shouldn't have felt thst way. I didn't like him like that. He was more of acquaintance.

"I took Jothi to the council meeting. " he explained.

Tali and Ariel's face fell.

"why didn't you take me!?" They both exclaimed.

"Because-" he was cut off by their complaining and whining.

i gave him an apologetic smile and retreated to my room...on the third floor.

By the time i made it there i collapsed onto my bed.

i didn't notice Ariel had followed me.

"You were angry and upset. I searched the whole castle for you." she crossed her ams and stood infront of me.

i forgot about our bond.

"I didn't realize i was affecting you." i said honestly.

"I'm sure you didn't. I wanted to know who was making you upset. I destroyed one of the guest rooms in my rage." she started pacing.

I sat up in bed.

"I'm sorry-"

She growled and attacked me. Before i could scream at her fast movement she bit into my neck.

The pure ectasy feeling returned and i bit my bottom lip.

Her hand gathered the hair at the nape of my neck and pulled it to the side. Getting better access to my blood.

She purred and drank heavily.

I felt like i was on cloud 9. Then again all to soon she pulled away.
