"Come on Aro." My horse was being a bit stubborn with his bit and halter but eventually, I got it on him.

Once I made it to the upper level I saw Kili. "Where are you going?" He stood there and looked at me.

"I think I saw an Orc."

"An Orc?!"

"Kili, sh!" I held my finger up to my lips. "Shut the gate behind me," I said as I got on Aro.

"What if you don't come back? Thorin will be hurt."

I looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"I've seen the way he looks at you. He'll be devastated if something happened." Kili walked over and stood next to Aro.

"Close the gait." I nudged Aro and he started running. I heard the gait close behind me.

Once I reached the hill, I hopped off Aro and checked the tracks. They headed East of Erebor (map view), at least a day's ride.

I stood up and looked onto the hills. Only having my daggers.

{Thorin's POV}

"Thorin." Balin came up to me looking worried.

"What is it?"

"She's not here."

I stepped towards Balin. "What do you mean she's not here."

"And her horse." Balin looked at me in the eyes. "She's only armed with daggers."

I pushed past Balin and everyone else came up. "Does anyone know where she went?" Everyone was just standing there but I noticed Kili looked like he was trying to compose himself. "What do you know." I stepped towards Kili. "Where is she!"

"She went East." He tilted his head down and looked at me. "She said she saw an Orc and went to go see where it came from."

I backed away from Kili. I hope she's not hurt. I looked at everyone. "Get your things." They all nodded and headed off.

{Nex's POV}

"I'll have to leave you here Aro. The rest of the way is no place for a horse." I took off Aro's bridle and stuck it in the side pouch of his saddle. "Now go back." I turned him around and hit his hind and he jolted forward. "I hope to see you again," I mumbled as I watched him run back towards Erebor. I was so far from The Lonely Mountain that it looked faint.

My focus was shifted back to my path. "Well. They made it through the Iron Hills. If not in them." I pulled my hood over my head and continued on my way.

{Thorin's POV}

I and the company found her tracks and they were heading East.

"You've grown very fond of her," Kili said smirking.

"I don't understand what you mean." Kili, I swear you get on my nerves sometimes.

"I've seen the way you look at her Thorin. You love.."

"I do not love her." I scoffed.

"Whatever you say." I could hear Kili still had a smirk on his face.

"Thorin. Isn't that her horse?" We all stopped as we saw her horse run up to us.

"Woah." I held my hands up and stopped it. "How far did it come?"

"Just outside of the Iron Hills." Ori pointed.

All of our heads turned when we heard screaming coming from inside the hills. We all drew our weapons and ran.

{Nex's POV}

My body was thrown against a rock and my head slammed against it.

"Are you a dragon lord?"

"I don't know what you're talking ab- AH!" The orc kicked me in my ribs. I looked up to see a few more orcs towering behind the one.

"She won't tell us anything. Might as well kill her." They all grinned and turned to me.

The one that was towering me raised his sword, ready to strike. I was losing so much blood from my head that I started getting dizzy. I closed my eyes, accepting what was about to happen.

"AHHH!" My eyes opened slightly and I noticed Thorin, Ori, Nori, Kili, Fili, Dori, Dwalin, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, and Balin all running in and attacking the orcs. There were only four orcs at first but a few more came running in. One of them noticed I was alone and went to strike me but someone killed them first.

Thorin got on his knees in front of me. "You're losing too much blood." He ribbed a long piece of his undershirt off and rolled me on my back before wrapping it around my head. "You'll be okay, you'll be okay." He said as he rested my head in his left hand and his right hand holding my face.

My eyes opened just enough for me to look at him. "Thorin, we need to get her back. Quick." Dwalin stood next to Thorin.

As I felt Thorin pick me up, he had my head sitting up against his chest so no more blood would go to my head. My vision ended up going dark and the last thing I remember was Thorin carrying me out of the Iron Hills.
