"We had a perfectly good peace treaty made and everything but you just had to ruin it, didn't you?" Loki said calmly yet you could tell he was mad. Odin stood angrily.
"I could not risk the Casket going in to the wrong hands." Odin said.
"Then let me use it. You know I won't betray you." Loki said.
"Do I? You are the person who let the Jotuns enter Asgard to take the Casket. You are a traitor.'' Odin said.
"Do you realize how important this is? You have to trust me. Just this once, have more faith in me than you do Thor, because, (sorry Thor) his idea most likely involves smashing Laufey until he submits."
"What?" Laufey looked slightly alarmed.
"And here we are again. Discussing your jealousy issues." Odin said.
"What? This has nothing to do with jealousy! I just want you to give me a chance. I can do it, you just have to let me." Loki stuttered.
"No, Loki." Odin said.
"Father! Can you not just trust Loki, this one time?" Thor yelled.
"So now my own son has turned against me." Odin stated.
"Oh, what am I? A pear?" Loki grumbled.
"A pear? No. But you are not my son." Odin said.
Frigga gasped. "Odin! How dare you say that about our son! Of course he is our son, don't you listen to him darling."
"So the great Allfather is casting me out? Great. That's brilliant, you know why? Because now the concerns of Asgard are none of mine. So, deal with your politics on your own!" Loki said turning away.
"Loki! If you are not the son of Odin, then you are mine." Laufey called. "Which means the politics of Jotunheim are your concern. Now, can we finally get to the peace treaty?"
Loki rolled his eyes and turned around. "Ugh! Fine. Since now I stand as representative for Jotunheim, I call offense to Asgard. They promised full restoration of Jotunheim, which was denied to us. We now hold the cards for the new treaty as we were the ones wronged from the last one. Any questions before I move on to our demands?"
"Loki! You are just going to go over to the Jotuns?" Sif exclaimed.
"Well let's see. The Jotuns actually accept me while the ASGARDIANS WHO HAVE KNOWN ME FOR A FEW HUNDRED YEARS don't trust me. Not just that, they also reject me and disown me. Gee, who should I help?" Loki said.
"Loki, he only accepts you because he needs something from you. Can't you see that? Once he gets that, he will deny you." Hogun piped up.
"I know. Yeesh, what? You think I'm stupid?" Loki scoffed. "But is still its more than what I am getting from your king. You know, he only just raised me all my childhood, but that's no reason to trust me."
"Then why are you helping them?" Volstagg asked.
"To prove something." Loki said.
"What? To prove what?" Fandral asked.
"That I am worth something. That I can actually do something." Loki said quietly.
"Ugh Loki you drama queen!" Sif exclaimed annoyed. "We all know you are worth something! We all know you can do things! Now you better stop this!"
"All of you?" Loki asked. Everyone turned to Odin. Frigga placed her hands on her hips.
"Odin." She snapped. Loki's eyes widened. Frigga never got angry. Especially at her family. "Apologize to Loki. Now."
