EPILOGUE
Somewhere in Abuja…
Soft tunes of a violin wove seamlessly with the cool north wind. Full moonlight lit the pathway to the musician playing to the crickets while large trees clapped along as a figure moved toward the song. Finally, she saw him. Standing at the top of a high rock was the violinist, Eden, she didn't want to ruin his concentration so she rested on a tree as she watched the purple notes dance in the sky before him, his lean natural dreadlocks neatly sat in a bun atop his head with the sides and back shaven as usual. Eden's eyes shut tightly whilst he prepared to reach the peak of his melody, he stopped and so did the cheerful trees. The musical notes in front of him dispersed.
Meredith straightened. She knew she was the cause of his sudden break. She cleared her throat. "I apologize for the intrusion sir. The Richards siblings have manifested greater power than we expected, do you think it's time?"
Eden tucked the violin back into its case then sat on the rock. "I suppose so. We should get to them before the Augments do. Go out with a small team." He ordered "It is time to read them their history." Eden smiled with his eyes, giving him a more youthful look.
"Yes sir" Meredith marched back.
"I look forward to meeting you, Efe and David" His purple eyes twinkled with delight. He laid his back on the rock watching the nighttime fade into dawn.

"Raise that rock!" The Augment captain spoke.
"There's a man underneath it. Do you think he's one of them? Should I end him?" A boy asked from under the darkness of his hood, his voice was the only clue to who he was.
"No. He's one of us, take him to the lab and tell them to do the procedure on him."
"But sir, many healthy people died! What makes you think this one that is half dead will survive?" Another argument questioned. It was the voice of a man in his middle twenties.
"If death wanted his life, he would have been dead." The bald captain stared at the crushed man. He drew little breaths. "Now take him away!"
Just then, the man opened an eye slightly. His ears hissed as gongs rang in his head.
'I will kill you. I will kill you David!" Okafor let himself fall into sleep planning his revenge.******
Efe and David battled against each other in Ayo's basement. Efe screamed as David pounded her head repeatedly, she just couldn't move away. Anger boiled in her heart, her eyes glinted red and she was dead.
David won the round again.
"Catwoman remains undefeated" He raised his arms in victory."Akporo gi m asi! You cheat! In fact I hate this game. I don't think my game pad is working" Efe complained. Glaring at the 55' television. She was sure that Superman would win against Catwoman. "Injustice sucks" she whined to Tosin.
Translation:
"I hate you!""Nope. You just suck at the game, watch I'll beat Catwoman with Superman" Efe scooted as Tosin sat to play the next round.
"You wish." David grinned. He became a pro in Injustice in the few days he started playing. Efe didn't have that kind of luck instead she stabbed holes through the first television with her daggers when she lost the fourth time to David.
Ayo was not pleased, to say the least.
Speaking of Ayo, he walked into the space with a bowl of popcorn.
"I have two announcements to make. Good and semi bad. Which one do you want first" he dropped the bowl of popcorn mixed with powdered milk in front of them as a peace offering. They didn't know that though."Good first." Tosin paused the game, David drew the popcorn his way and Efe watched Ayo walk behind a couch before he started talking.
"Good" David replied
"Semi bad" Only Efe said."Majority wins the vote." Ayo smiled "Good news is we get to spend the christmas holiday in Abuja!"
"Wow" Tosin sunk in the chair " Now tell them the Horrible news" he eyed Ayo.
"C'mon it's not that bad." Ayo defended.
"Oya tell them na. Stop stalling"
"Semi Bad news is we have to stay in my mother's house."
"No! You don't mean…" Efe paled. 'The strict woman…'
"Yep" he hid behind the chair. "Efe remember you love A&M's clothing oh"
"I do.. I didn't say I wanted to meet your mother though" she retorted "She sounds cruel"
"Ouch! But you said you heard a lot about her.."
"Yes I did and I didn't say they were good things"
Ayo looked away quietly."I don't get why it's bad news…" David chewed more popcorn.
"You've not met his mother" Tosin said.
"Efe hasn't either.. Why is she pressured?"
"Duh!! She's his lady friend and she's about to meet a mommy's boy's mother. 'Course she's pressured."
"Oh!"
"I'm not a mommy's boy" Ayo turned to Efe. "You good?"
"I'm greeaat!" A dagger materialized and dissapeared at her ear. "I'm wonderful" her stomach churned.
'This is bad. These things never go well in the movies.' She thought, then shrugged.
"Well, what could possibly go wrong?" She threw popcorn in her mouth, relaxing a bit.******
"Efe! You effing jinxed the trip" David whined.A/N: This is the end of Efe Book One.
