Six...
"Let's try this again... Shall we?" She tied her hair up. "Who wants to go first?"
"Impossible..." Dominic whispered "You suppose don die... You be winsh?!" He rose from the ground. Disbelief etched his bloody face, he glanced at Lanky.
"I don't know" she remembered why she was here and what she was supposed to be doing "... But you could tell me"
Efe ran so quickly that their eyes almost didn't see her, her hands shot out in front of her as she jumped to grip Charles' shoulders, crushing it with little effort. She pushed him under and behind her and headed for the main person she aimed to kill. She couldn't control the rage flowing through her so she needed to let it out on someone.
Dominic stood his ground preparing to fight but he was useless against her new found strength. Efe hit him with so much force that he flew in to the wall behind, cracking it and shifting the thatched roof.
He crawled out coughing blood and gasping for air as she looked at him with hatred. She closed her eyes remembering the way his rough hands rubbed her breasts and squeezed them but only that could not explain why she felt this heightened anger. Thinking was helping either. She felt like she was forgetting something, she didn't want to think about it. Whatever it was enraged her and she wanted to make him pay for it all, she wanted to see him suffer.
A known feeling worked its way up her spine and through her arms. When she opened her eyes they bled red. Her pupils were literally red, she looked down at her hands to see them engulfed in hot red smoke-like stuff. Aura. It formed battle axes in each arm.
She gripped the handles wondering in awe at them. They came with hunger and an intense craving for the blood. Not only his blood!
Watching from the sideline, she looked like a deranged serial killer. With bloody clothes and shoes to match.
Efe smiled at the axes. It might've seemed like she stared at her hands for an hour but it was only a quarter of a minute. She flipped them around with ease walking to Dominic. It was like she knew this feeling from a distant memory, the way she flung her axes, the feeling of them in her sweaty palms and the hunger they brought. All felt like a lost dream.
Once she was over him, she planted them in his back then repeated the process. Hacking and hacking away to satisfy her blades until there was almost nothing left on the ground, still they weren't satisfied.
More bloodied, she rose to face Lanky. The male studied her with a blank face while the stranger was frozen in place by fear. Her blades flickered away. Lanky nodded her way signalling one of his demons to finish her off. It stalked closer and closer to her until it was right next to her. She didn't dare break eye contact with Lanky.
"Kill her" Lanky ordered but before the demon could do damage, she caught its hand then placed her other one its head. Covering its eyes or lack of. As her hand squeezed its head, it began to sizzle, the spirit shook, screeched and shrieked unable to break free from the grip of her powers until it was no more.
Even the stranger felt her rage and heard the cries but couldn't see anything except for red cracks in thin air in front of a once helpless girl. 'What have i gotten myself into?'
"I'm impressed. How long have you been able to see?" Lanky spoke. His eyes gleamed.
"Apparently my whole life" Efe spotted Charles trying to escape. A chain sprung out from her outstretched hand and dragged him by the neck to her feet. She shifted her attention to her prisoner placing a foot on his injured shoulder, she steadily applied pressure.
"Oga!" He choked "Abeg help me... She go kill me oh" he struggled to breath through the hot metal "oga... abeg... na"
"I told you not to touch my stuff" Lanky drawled, bored and irritated "You're lucky she gets to kill you". With that, a pop sound announced his death. 'What a fun way to go…' She thought.
"Your turn" Efe whipped out her axes. She threw one of them immediately taking out the last demon in the room.
"You don't have to do this you know! We could work together" They circled.
"No thanks, I'll settle for your head" Her axe swooped back into her hand widely missing Lanky's ear.
"I like your confidence child! I shall kill you quick" He saw no point in talking anymore, he attacked.
