My eyes fluttered as the sounds of birds cooing reached my ears and I snuggled more into the warmth surrounding me. I heard a deep sigh and felt fingers trailing through my hair making me want to never wakeup from the bliss. But my eyes opened betraying me and it took few seconds for me to recognize where I am.

I rubbed my eyes to clear my drowsiness and looked to my left. I was embraced in his arms, my face nuzzling into his neck. His left hand was on my legs keeping them in place over the top of his legs half way. I lifted my face slightly away to look at his face. Last night we kissed for a while and cuddled together on the sofa in silence. I don't even remember when we dozed off like that.

I couldn't help but gaze at Avikam, smiling as he looked peaceful with his eyes close. I know he was awake as his fingers kept brushing softly through my hair. He stopped his movement when he sensed me awake and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Morning babe," He greeted me, his voice coming out husky.

He still kept his eyes closed and I couldn't help but lean closer. I pecked at the corner of his mouth and stood up before he can anticipate.

I rubbed my arms and walked towards the canvas stand. I could sense him getting up and moving behind me as I pulled away cover on the canvas to take a look at his work.

I breathed in as I witnessed myself with Pari in front of me. I was braiding her hair in the painting while she was giggling uncontrollably. It was not complete yet as he said last night but it made me smile so wide that my jaw felt uncomfortable for a second.

I felt the heat as he came close and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.

"Her smile could light up anything in a heartbeat," I said looking at her face he painted.

He nuzzled into my hair, "When I look at you both laughing together, something warms up around my heart and I can't even describe it," he whispered into my hair.

We stayed like that for few seconds and my eyes noticed the watch on his hand. I held his hand and turned it slightly to get a good look at the time and I was surprised to see it was past nine in the morning.

I pulled apart turning around but before I could say anything he uttered, "It's Sunday Ishu."

I nodded my head quickly, "I know but I have plans with Pari."

"What plans?" he asked lazily pulling me back into his arms.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "That's just for us girls to know. Now let me go, I need to go back to my place and get ready. We got lot of things to do," I said trying to hurry.

He stared back at me indolently.

"Avikam!" I huffed, wiggling out of his arms.

He sighed heavily and muttered, "Fine!"

I turned to walk out.

"But," he said making me pause and I looked back raising an eyebrow.

He grinned at me teasingly making me suspicious, "There is just one thing...."

I can't believe this. I fumed as I walked inside the estate looking for Jay.

How can they decide something like this without even asking me?

Where is he? I looked around the place I first time entered not even registering fully how grand and beautiful the interiors are.

I enquired one of the servants and he said Jay is with Pari on the first floor.
