Stuck Together

I am not claustrophobic. I never felt panic in closed places but I do feel suffocated. If I stay long enough in a closed place that I don't get fresh air my heart goes crazy and my lungs start to burn a little. There is no ventilator in this elevator and no other escape for air. Given the space, we have two hours for good oxygen levels in air. I hope they get us out of here in that time.

For about a half an hour I just took slow breaths leaning back on the wall with closed eyes but he wasn't calm. I felt him moving, grumbling a bit and huffing in frustration. I didn't open my eyes even when he loosely kept his hands on my legs. My skirt had ridden up a bit exposing my thigh lightly. I can feel one of his hand on my skirt while the other one on my bare skin. I jerked a bit at his touch but soon relaxed when he just kept his hands without moving them.

I kept my hands loosely on my stomach playing with my fingers, counting imaginary things. My phone rang making me open my eyes. It was on my bag beside him; I leaned forward and lifted it. He looked at me raising his eyebrow; I noticed it is the same number he dialed so I passed my phone to him.

He answered it, "Yes Roni........ three to four hours?" he snapped. Awesome! I am stuck for few more hours in this awkwardness.

"Is this a joke? They don't even know what kind of mechanical problem is it? What I am paying them for? Bring in some expert technicians and get us out of here," he demanded fiercely and gripped my thigh in his anger with his right hand.

I gulped looking at his hand and then looked at his face. He was listening to this Roni guy and I don't think he even realized what he was doing. How I am supposed to keep calm when I can feel the blood rushing in my body? His rough hand on my thigh made me feel all hot and bothered. I looked at his face hoping he would end the call and remove his hand.

"Us as in I am stuck with a girl," he said looking at me.

"I don't know..... Just get us out of here soon," he yelled gripping my thigh even more tightly making me suck a deep breath. He ended the call and threw the phone in my lap.

"Hey!" I called at him.

He just looked at me blankly, "It didn't even hit you."

Can't he see his hand squeezing the life out of my thigh? Okay that's exaggeration but still. "I can see that but can you kindly let go of my thigh?" I asked with a fake sweet tone.

He narrowed his eyes at me then looked at my thigh. He opened his mouth a bit in disbelief and removed his hand. I gasped in relief. Finally! I looked at my thigh to see the skin there turn red. He noticed it too and his face turned worried.

"I didn't..... I was just..... I ...." he let out stumbling words and loosened his tie around his neck.

I tried to explain softly, "My skin ... it turns red even with light squeeze. It's not a bruise so don't worry."

He exhaled after listening to me. "Are you sure?" he asked and I nodded assuring. He looked at my red skin and brushed it lightly with his fingertips.

"What are you doing?" I whispered breathlessly. He looked at me and just kept brushing his thumb in a circular motion on that area of my skin. I blinked at him twice, my cheeks turning warm.

"This is awkward," I murmured and he smirked faintly noticing my cheeks. He leaned back closing eyes with his fingers still in motion. Few more minutes of silence, I had enough. If this continues I will drift into sleep. I really don't want to sleep in a closed space, sitting on a man I find extremely hot and attractive.
