Sweet Kushal
Avi Gupta
Checking the file for the third time, I am finally satisfied with the presentation. Saving my work, I packed up my things. Avikam already told me to leave forty five minutes before but I wanted to make sure this presentation is done.
He is busy in a meeting with Mr. Mehra who finally came after three weeks and barged right into Avikam's office. I was almost anticipating my boss yelling at me for allowing Mr. Mehra to enter his office but nothing happened. Looks like his friends are allowed to do that and can still breathe.
After a while he called me to bring the contract papers in a calm tone. I went and gave him the file while Mr. Mehra kept staring at me. I would have found him totally creepy but he looked mostly curious. Avikam told me I am done for the day and can leave. I decided to check on the presentation I had been working for last three days one more time before leaving.
It's the international one and Avikam finally let me in on this project. This Saturday his friends are having a meeting here to finalize their presentations for the project. Avikam gave me his work files and extra notes to me. He already prepared a 3D PowerPoint graft. He asked me to add few more points, charts and edit the basic typing errors.
I am excited to meet his partners mostly because they are also his best friends. Last week as per his orders I arranged movers and cleaners for estate houses in the Lakeview area. Three of his partners who do not reside in Mumbai are soon going to move in to this city. I saw the images of those estates they look so luxurious and beautiful.
Noticing the box I brought with me today, I opened it to eat a brownie. Jay and I baked them last night and I shared them with Julie, Viraj and Ronit. There are still three left and my mouth watered. I took a bite savoring the sweetness but someone entered my office without knocking disturbing my moment with the brownie. How rude!
I kept the half eaten one on the tissue looking up at the person with a scowl. I cleared my expression noticing its Mr. Mehra. He has great looks and handsome like Ronit but nothing compared to Avikam. Maybe it's my attraction towards him that makes me drool over just him and no one else.
Don't get me wrong I can see these men are handsome and muscular like I prefer but they are not eye catching to me. All because of Avikam, I seriously need to get over him which seems like mission impossible.
"Mr. Mehra! Please have a seat," I said gesturing towards the chair to sit. He sat on it keeping his legs stretched lazily.
"We didn't get properly acquainted Ms. Gupta," he stated giving a charming smile.
"Um... What can I do for you?" I asked confused.
"You can start by giving me all the details of the time when you were stuck with Avikam in elevator," he said with an excited glint in his eyes. Scrunching my eyebrows I looked at him. Why does he want to know?
