Half-sister

Avikam looked completely calm with his legs sprawled in front of him as she came running and leaped into his lap. She wrapped her arms around him as far as they go and he pulled her close kissing her head. I tried to get away using that as an opportunity but he held me tight to his side just by using the force from his right hand. All of my strength seems nothing compared to his.

"You are here," Pari gasped out happily.

She pulled away and turned towards me with wide eyes, "Aviboo is here," she repeated.

Smiling at her, I leaned a bit to pinch her cheek softly nodding, "He is here."

"I couldn't stay away from my babygirl so long," Avikam said softly peppering kisses all over her face. She giggled trying to get away from him. I was right, I can't handle them together. They are melting my heart!

"How about we get up from the floor?" I suggested trying to scoot away. I can't believe I gave in again to his closeness few minutes back. I seriously need some self control.

He pulled me and Pari to his chest, squishing us both. "I kind of like this position," he stated grinning down at me. I huffed and looked at the little one sitting on his lap contently.

"Me too," she whispered brushing my cheek with her little fingers making me smile. I peeked at him through my lashes and he was gazing at me with a pleased smile. I looked away and he pressed his lips to my forehead rubbing Pari's back.

I relaxed into their embrace brushing Pari's hair. I was about to wrap my left hand around his waist but the noise of heavy footsteps snapped me to reality. We pulled away from each other looking back. One of the guards came inside carrying Avikam's luggage. He stopped in his tracks looking at us weirdly.

"Keep them in my room," Avikam ordered him finally letting me go. He got up along with Pari and extended his hand towards me. Holding it I got up and patted away my backside to get rid of dust. He smirked at me sexily making me freeze my action.

"Did you bring gifts for me?" Pari asked him diverting his attention.

"I certainly did," he said making her smile widely.

"Can I see them?" she asked getting excited.

"Tomorrow babygirl, you should sleep now."

"No! I want to see the gifts now. Please!" she demanded and he looked at her in surprise.

"Okay we will go to your room," he decided letting her down and taking one of his bags.

"We should go the guest room, the bed is big for three if us," she said taking my hand. Wait! What?

Avikam simpered at me, "Good idea." I looked at him in disbelief while Pari started dragging us towards stairs. Don't I get a say in this? I thought picking up the water bottle on the way silently pouting.

He took out few soft toys, color pencil sets and placed them on the bed. Pari checked them out excitedly while we watched her quietly sitting on either side of her. I observed her carefully and I don't think she likes one of the toys with huge eyes.

"Did you like them?" Avikam asked with his gaze towards the toy she didn't seem to like.

She nodded smiling at him picking up the pencil sets. He sighed lowly looking at the toy. He definitely wanted her to say something if she didn't like it.

"Which one you like the most?" I asked her picking up the weirdly looking soft toy intentionally, "This one?"

She looked at me and then at the toy mumbling shyly, "I don't like it, it has creepy eyes."
