My Girls

You can't struggle against your feelings for very long, they will choke you up suffocating. I felt the same as I tried to stay away from Avi. Before leaving for Japan I gave into those feelings. I realized she is the one for me and stopped fighting within myself and I finally found my peace. Kissing her made me crave for more and it was liberating me at the same time.

On the plane to Tokyo I relived the kiss we shared, numerous times to the point of sleeping and dreaming her. I woke up after few hours and tried to work a bit to distract myself but scrolling through my phone I came across Sachit's message. What if he still tried to hit on her?

That thought made me call him to warn but that asshole didn't answer my call. Cursing I called Kush who is staying with my babygirl.

"What's up man?" he asked joyfully.

"I need you to make sure Sachit stays far away from Avi," I said coming straight to the point.

He scoffed at me, "You decided not to get together with her. Why are you worried about Sachit? Let him be," he taunted me. I knew he was annoyed at me for ignoring my feelings.

"Not anymore," I stated, "She is my girl and she is off limits."

"Wait," he gasped in surprise, "are you saying what I think you are saying?" he asked excitedly and I shook my head even though he can't see me. He got so attached to Avi that he wants both of us together as soon as possible.

"Yes," I admitted.

"But what if I am thinking ......." he started playfully but I cut him off.

"Just do what I said," and then a thought occurred to me, "I gave her half days so get her to meet Pari," I said. He didn't respond for few seconds.

"You are not joking with me are you?" he sputtered out finally.

"I am serious Kush, introduce them to each other. Let Avi join you when you hang out with Pari," I said seriously while feeling anxious inside. What if my babygirl doesn't like Avi? What if Avi doesn't like kids? What if they don't get along well?

"They are going to love each other," Kush spoke as if he heard my mind.

"How do you know that? They might end up hating each other," I muttered.

He chuckled on the other side, "Vik, I don't think they are even capable of hate," he said lightly and I told myself to stop over thinking.

I sighed, "Okay let me know how it went and I want to know every single interaction between them," I said firmly and he agreed. He informed he will be taking Pari to the Taraporewala aquarium the first day which was a good idea.

After landing I checked into the hotel room that was reserved for me. I kept looking at my phone waiting for Kush to update me. I got freshened up by the time my phoned beeped. I leaped on the bed taking my phone and opened the message he sent me.

"Maybe first step in letting the world know about Pari is introducing her to Avi," he texted with an attached file. I clicked on it waiting nervously and seeing the picture, my heart swelled in happiness. It was a picture of my babygirl and Avi.

Avi was crouched down in front of Pari kissing her forehead. My babygirl had her arms wrapped around Avi smiling shyly. My eyes glistened and I was surprised that I felt so emotional. It confirmed how strong I feel about Avi and seeing them both together erased any doubts I had about us.

I wanted to go back immediately and hug both of my girls tight but I know I came here to do a job. I don't want to leave my work incomplete and I decided to let both of them connect with each other.
