A Not-So-Normal Summer Camp

The long car ride was finally over. We were in Arizona. Where exactly, I don't know. But we were standing in front of what looked like... a summer camp? I have no idea why Sandy would take us to a summer camp in the middle of April. School isn't even over.
"What's up with the summer camp?" Latona asked as if she had read my mind.
"You're staying here for a while. I'm not sure how long. The monsters can't get you in there," Sandy said that as if she actually cared about us.
The camp was called 'Kyanpo No Anzen'. But it instantly translated in my mind to 'Camp Safety'. That sounded weird.
"Welcome to Anzen Sei!" Sandy said, then pushed us through the arch. But she didn't follow. As we fell to the ground inside the camp, we saw something horrifying. Another monster, looking right at Sandy. It jumped, right on her. She saw it coming, but she didn't move. She let it tackle her. Then, both Sandy and the monster turned to ash and disappeared. We sat there all day. People stared at us, but we didn't move. Not until night fell, and someone came and told us to follow her. She looked like Sandy.
"You kids need to get some sleep. Follow me," she said. She had blonde hair and bright green eyes. We followed her to a perfectly straight line of little houses. Cabins, I think.
"So, who are you?" Mark asked.
"My name is Siv. I'm Saundra's mother!" she said.
Siv was Sandy's mother... but Sandy is dead.
"D...did you see what happened outside?" I asked, quietly.
She nodded. She knew what happened. But she didn't seem fazed at all like she's seen this happen before.
"You kids will be sleeping in the guest cabin for the time until we figure out what cabin you'll be staying in for real," Siv explained. She pointed to a cabin at the end of the line. "It's only got one other kid staying in it. You'll be like roommates!"
She guided us to the cabin and shoved us inside.
"Good night!" she said.
The inside of the cabin looked much bigger than on the outside. There were four sets of bunk beds, one covered in papers with miscellaneous drawings on them. All the blankets were on the floor. Then a girl came walking from the other room. She had just gotten out of the shower.
"Who are you?" she asked.
We didn't answer. We were still in shock. The girl scowled.
"Geez. I just asked you a question," she said angrily.
We didn't speak. All we did was go to sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING...
Siv lead us to the meal hall to eat breakfast.
"Sandy said that you're supposed to tell us what's going on," Latona said.
"That's right! Follow me to your cabin when you finish, okay?" Siv said.
And that's what we did. We quickly finished eating and walked to the cabin. Sure enough, Siv was waiting for us there. She was sitting on an empty bunk.
"So, she didn't tell you what's going on?"
We all nodded.
"Well, Saundra felt that you four were... special..." Siv explained.
"How so?" I asked.
"You aren't exactly human. You're half-god, demigods. You'll be staying in this cabin, here until we figure out who your godly parents are," she explained.
Siv lead us to the center of the camp, where all the other campers were gathered around the fire.
"Alright, campers! I'd like to introduce our four new campers! They just got here yesterday!" Siv yelled.
I was standing by Latona, who was hiding behind Siv.
Then Siv realized that she didn't know our names.
"Now... uh... can you please introduce yourselves!" she said.
Mark stepped forward.
"M... my name is Mark.."
Travis was next.
"Hi. I'm Travis Thoth,"
Then... Latona, who was now sitting on the ground, having a nervous breakdown.
"That's Latona. And I'm Isabelle, the girl who made a giant spider turn into glitter!" I shouted. Poor Latona...
Then all of a sudden, a golden light appeared above my head.
"Isabelle! Your godly parent has claimed you!" Siv cheered.
"What?" I asked.
"Your godly parent is..." she paused.
The unexpected happened.
