I quickly sat up in my chair. Mark was staring at me, so was Latona.
"Isabelle!" Mark shouted.
His eyes gave off a worried look.
"What happened?" he asked, grabbing my wrist.
"It's hard to explain..." I sighed.
How was I supposed to explain that I had been pulled out of reality by the goddess of the future to find her brother and fight her mother in the meantime? I can't just explain that all... Not on my own...
"You better not be keeping secrets," Sandy said.
I wanted to tell them so bad.
"I'm not..."
"Attention passengers. We are beginning our landing. Please remain in your seats and fasten your seatbelts,"
That was the pilot. I looked out the window and saw the woods. There was a clearing with a large hill in it.
"Mark look! There's camp!" I cheered.
A little while later, we landed in a nearby airport.
A FEW HOURS LATER...
I led my friends to the entry of the camp. There were campers waiting there, smiling at us.
My friends and I walked in, but Sandy hesitated.
"Sandy? Aren't you coming with us?" I asked.
"I can't. I'm not allowed in..." Sandy said as she walked backwards.
"Why?"
"M... Siv won't let me..."
She didn't want to call Siv her mother...
"And why would that be?"
"Ask her yourself,"
Sandy turned around and walked down a path near the entrance. I turned around and walked inside the camp.
Ivy and Jimmie were standing by the fire waving at us.
"You didn't die!" Ivy cheered.
"Ivy, that's a little morbid, don't you think?" Jimmie sighed.
"It's alright, Jimmie. She's just excited. But all things aside, I have news for you!" Travis smiled and took Jimmie into the woods.
"Wow. Travis said more than a sentence at once..." Latona marveled at Travis's statement.
"Latona, Mark, why don't you go introduce Adria and Bridgette to Siv. I want to catch up with Ivy," I said.
They nodded and lead Adria and Bridgette to Siv's cabin.
Ivy and I walked back to Cabin 14 and sat on our beds.
"So, how did it go?" Ivy smiled.
"I got the ring!" I cheered and held out my hand to show Ivy the golden ring.
"How did you get it?"
"You'll never guess who had it the whole time!"
"Who?"
"Our mom!"
"No way!"
Then the door flung open. Jimmie was standing there with Travis at his side.
"You really found him?" Jimmie cried.
"Who?" I asked.
"DJ!"
"Oh. Ya, he was stuck at the beach in Maine,"
"Where is he now?"
"He's at the other camp..."
"What other camp? There's only one camp..."
"Nope. There's a much smaller camp in Maine. It's run by a kid named Cole Adkins and two little boys,"
"Why didn't you take him back?!"
"He said he wasn't ready to come back here again,"
"And... is it true that you found Siv's daughter too? I thought she was dead..."
"She was dead," Travis noted.
"Isabelle? What did you even do on your quest?"
I hate being up on the spot.
"Alright, we'll all gather in here after everyone goes to sleep. I'll tell you then. Travis, go tell the others," I said.
Travis nodded and took Jimmie back to their cabin.
LATER THAT NIGHT...
Ivy and I were still in our cabin.
"So, what's mom like?" Ivy asked.
"Well, I didn't get to talk to her for very long... but she's cool," I said.
"And what about Ma..."
Someone knocked on the door, breaking Ivy off.
I stood up and opened the door. There stood all my friends.
