I Break Into School Again

Mark and Travis lead us to the entrance to their school.
"You guys should stay out here. You're not aloud inside..." Mark explained.
"Ok. Just don't die in there," I said.
"So you really do care," Mark joked.
Mark laughed and went inside the building with Travis right behind him.
I still didn't know what those two had here that they needed to grab. Neither of them ever said anything about it except for when they said that they needed something here. Everytime I tried to ask, they didn't answer. Their secrecy reminded me of Siv.

FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER...
I saw Mark and Travis come out of the school carrying overflowing folders.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Homework. We don't wanna get expelled," Mark sighed.
"If we have too many late assignments we'll get in trouble," Travis explained. That was one of his longest sentences I've ever heard him say.
"Your school is really strict..." I said.
If I had gone to that school, I'd end up failing all the classes.
"Are you guys supposed to stay here all summer?" Latona asked.
"We can if we want to. There aren't any classes though, unless you fail a class. Then you have to do summer school, like Travis," Mark said.
"Travis failed a class?" Latona asked.
"Two of them. English and History. That's why he has more than me,"
"Even Isabelle did better than that!" Latona exclaimed.
"Hey!" I yelled.
"Why don't we just go back to Arizona now?" Adria complained.
"Stop being so impatient!" Sandy sighed.
"Mind your own business,"
"Adria, stop for your own health," Latona said.
"This has nothing to do with you, Latona," Adria said.
Latona stepped back and looked at the ground. She didn't like it when people yelled at her.
Then Adria and Sandy got right back to arguing. There was no stop to it. They argued all the way to the airport, and onto the plane. Latona sat behind us again, with Travis. I could tell she was uncomfortable. So were the rest of us.
Then something happened. At first, I didn't notice, but then I passed out.
I found myself waking up in a place I didn't recognize. It was a plain white room with nothing but the bed I was laying on and a metal door to my right. I sat up and watched as the door handle turned. The door opened and an old friend of mine came walking through. It was Amser!
"It's been a while, Isabelle," Amser said cheerfully.
I nodded.
"So, what's up?" I asked.
"I need your help with something," Amser sighed.
"What might that be?"
"Algy. I can't find him anywhere. I think mother got into his realm somehow,"
"Oh..."
"So, I want you to go into his realm and find him,"
"Wait, can't you do that?"
"No,"
"But you were in there with me,"
"Technically, that was only a projection. It was the same when you saw Algy here,"
"Alright. How do I get in?"
"I'll show you,"
Amser helped me up and lead me out the door.
Outside, I saw the exact opposite of what I expected. I thought I would walk out into a long white hallway, but instead I saw a beautiful garden full of roses and other flowers. But it didn't last long. We quickly moved through the garden and into another white, barren room. The only thing inside of it was a big machine, painted white to look like the rest of the room. Amser walked over to the machile and turned it on. It lit up, changing the color of the room to a bright blue.
"That's how you can cross realms. Just walk through the opening, and try not to die," Amser explained.
I looked at the center of the machine, then walked in. All I saw was a bright flash, then Amser and the room were gone.
