Elmer didn't move nor breath still in his confused state wondering what was going on. Bert's lips were on his and things he didn't understand were passing through him until Bert pulled back staring into his eyes "You're the one I have feelings for" Bert confirmed confidently, Elmer opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, he doesn't know what to say, his mind has just grown bigger and it is having a hard time processing what was happening "You don't need to say anything, I just couldn't keep it in how I feel about you" Bert added staring back in the distance.

Elmer would be lying if he tells you what he is feeling, the only feeling he is sure of is shock. He is shocked, he thought Bert loves Ernest and vice versa but now Bert has kissed him and he doesn't know what to say or most importantly do "So you don't love Ernest" Elmer asked shyly looking in the distance too, he seems to be nervous to meet Bert's eye.

"What gave you that idea?"

"The way he looks at you, then you told me about your feelings and when he gave you those Acacia flowers, the one that mean concealed love. I thought that maybe you both had feelings for each other"

"Do you remember that I gave you those flowers the moment I found out what they meant" Oh, now Elmer sees his mistake, he has been ignoring those facts because obviously no one can fall in love with him much less Bert "I have always liked you, even when you were still in the village"

"How are you confident to say something like that" Elmer knows he would never be able to admit having feelings for anyone but Bert is admitting them and to a man, something that could get him in big trouble.

"Maybe it is because I am tired of hiding those feeling, saying them made me feel free and you definitely don't have to return them I just...." Bert sighed trailing off turning fully to Elmer "Ever since I saw you in those clothes, I wanted to tell you how hot you look, so hot"

"Tha-nk you" Elmer stuttered as he turned away from Bert. Feeling insecure in the clothes he is in.

"You don't have to be nervous around me, we can go back to how we are usually" Elmer doesn't think he can do that after what has transpired here "My feelings don't have to ruin anything between us" Elmer nodded holding his legs. How could he notice the way Ernest looks at Bert and not notice the way Bert looks at him, maybe he was so focused on the friendship that he didn't focus on it, maybe it was the thought of Bert and Ernest or maybe it was the fact that Elmer doesn't expect anyone to find him attractive and hot, the word made Elmer smile. The fact that Bert thinks he is hot yet he doesn't see it, Elmer feels like Bert should have bern finding Ernest hot.

"What about Ernest?"

"He is just my friend, he doesn't feel anything"

"Maybe you haven't noticed the way he looks at you too" He didn't notice, maybe Bert isn't noticing it too or Elmer is also wrong and that look is for friendship.

"I think I would have noticed" Ernest wouldn't be in live with him and Bert wouldn't notice, that is impossible. Ernest is his child hood friend practically his brother, Ernest wouldn't be in love with him.

"If you say so" Elmer gave up, he knows nothing about any of that so he isn't sure if it is true or not. The fact that Bert is in love with him and not with Ernest makes him feel weird because it should be the other way round. Elmer is trying to process the fact that someone finds him hot and mostly Bert, Bert finds him hot, Elmer I'd still in disbelief "It is cold, we should get back inside"

"Go on, I will join afterwards" Bert replied glancing at Elmer, he has just outed his biggest secret to him and he hopes things don't get weird between them but he was dying with those feelings

"Okay" Elmer got up walking out of the flowers, he didn't know what else to do. He didn't want to leave Bert all alone there but he also no longer knows how to act around Bert after that confession. Bert doesn't want it to change things and Elmer wouldn't want it to change either but Elmer feels like it will seem unfair to Bert after saying what he feels. No one has ever confessed to Elmer for reasons even Elmer could see and now he just doesn't know how to act

"Don't you dare say something like that" a voice cut Elmer off from his walk, he didn't catch the voice too well but it sounded like the queen's voice but more angry, not the happy soothing voice that Elmer is used to "I don't have a second son, I only have one and that is Ernest" Elmer moved closer to the voices, he doesn't want to eavesdrop but he wants to know if she is fine. He moved out of a flower to see the queen with his aunt

"You had two sons, don't forget the one you killed" Elmer gasped unknowingly after what he heard his aunty say. The two women both turned around to find him staring at then with wide eyes.

"Am sorry I didn't mean to" Elmer apologized running away immediately, that is why it is wrong to eavesdrop. Now he has just found out something he wasn't supposed to find out, the queen had two sons. Ernest was born with another son and the queen killed him, for her to do that, was so she could keep Ernest and not get the both of them killed. It is explainable to why she would kill one but Elmer asks himself how she picked between the two, picking between two children deciding which one deserves to die and which one doesn't has to be a hard task.

Elmer feels like if he was in that situation he would have just hid one but even that would be hard to choose. Which one deserves to be hidden and which one deserves a normal life, in Elmer's opinion they both do so that would be a very tough decision. He sighed getting into his chamber flopping down on the bed, what the queen did or didn't do doesn't concern him and he should leave it as it is.

Hattie paced taping both her fingers, her secret is out and it is in the arms of the boy he hates. Why was he there at that time, Hattie knows he needs to get rid of that boy before her secret is outed, her son would be in danger and she can't allow that "He won't say anything, I will talk to him"

"Only the three of us knew that secret and it was safe but now that it is in the arms of that flower boy, I don't think I can rest"

"He is a nice boy, he won't say anything"

"How would I trust someone like him" Hattie snapped "This was your fault, why would you bring back such memories"

"Because I don't want you to forget about your second son"

"I don't have a second son, my only son is Ernest, that thing that came with him is dead now. Don't speak of it, I don't need anyone finding out my son was born with a curse" Della hates it when Hattie fails to acknowledge his other son, he only wants Ernest.

"I will go talk to him"

"No, talking to him won't do, we need to keep him quiet"

"You're not killing my nephew" Della replied when he got what Hattie meant by keeping Elmer quiet. Della won't allow Hattie to try anything on Elmer who hasn't done anything.

"He knows my secret we are better off if he is dead, if that secret comes out this kingdom will be doomed and all because of one boy"

"One boy that won't say anything, his life matters not to many but to us"

"The kingdom matters more"

"You're not touching him or I will reveal all of your secrets" Della threatened, she has been with Hattie long enough to know all of her secrets and if it comes to her nephew she won't be holding back, the boy didn't do anything to deserve death. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"You can't do that, if I go down the entire kingdom goes down"

"No, with that secret your the only one going down" Della confirmed, he has never threatened Hattie before but this isn't something she would stand for, Elmer is not getting touched. Della has confirmed that bringing Elmer into the castle was a bad idea
