"Open" Bert ordered getting inside the cell where Elmer is being held. The door behind them got locked as Bert stared at Elmer who is fitted on the small bed in the corner of the room with that look of defeat on his face "You are not losing faith now"

"What is the point of trying, I am just cursed" Elmer admitted lifting his head to stare at Bert "I am always in the middle of trouble without my knowledge. The one time, the one time I take tea to the king and it was poisoned, it was only one time, only once and he is dead. Tell me Bert, how can I fight a curse this strong when it doesn't let me rest for a second"

"With me" Bert encouraged getting to the bed sitting close to Elmer without care that the guard is watching "Elmer this isn't the time to lose hope, if we don't do something about this you are going to be executed for killing the king. The king is not sick, he is dead, this makes everything ten times worse but I am here so that  we can do this together and find out the real murderer"

"But I am stuck here"

"You don't need to do anything, just don't lose hope because I am not letting you die. You and me are stuck together for life, no one is dying do you hear me, no one"

"I want to kiss you" Elmer whispered biting his lip, Bert was the most favourite person he has ever met in his life.

"Hey" Bert called the guard "Turn around and don't look back until I tell you to" the guard frowned but did what he was told "Nothing is stopping you now" Elmer chuckled attaching his lips to Bert's into a sweet, slow and passionate kiss that he needed like the air he breaths. They pulled back to get some air inside their lungs but Bert didn't get enough he climbed on top of Elmer taking control of the kiss exploring Elmer's entire mouth with his hands wandering Elmer's body.

A moan escaped Elmer's lips before he could control it and that seemed to pull them out if their trance stopping themselves before they could go any further "I want you so bad" Bert groaned, too bad they are not in the place where he could take Elmer and pound into that sweet tight ass of his. Bert got off of Elmer getting off of the bed "I think we need to talk at a distance before I jump you"

"You are right" Elmer nodded, that was a good idea. If they needed to get anything done "So, do you have a plan on where to start"

"I have talked to Oda and the rest, asking if they knew something or someone suspicious who was close by as they made the tea but they all don't know but I am still keeping an eye on them, I am not trusting any of them. I can't just trust anyone but now I want to start searching for that Wiley Rockrof, are you sure you don't know him" Elmer shook his head, he has never heard of a name like that "Now I think I have to ask my dad for his information or I will get them from his-"

"Wait" Elmer cut Bert off when his head seemed to remember a Wiley "I don't know if who I am remembering is the guy but I think I know who it might be"

"Where did you meet him, how do you know him"

" I don't know him honestly but he helped me when I fell asleep on the side of the road. I woke up in his house, he gave me breakfast then told me his name was Wiley, I think that's it"

"You didn't talk about anything else"

"Not really, he just told me I have eyes that are similar to the king's, before I walked out he said 'If your still breathing, it means you're still winning'"

"How did he look like where does he live?"

"He is huge, so huge and tall probably taller than your dad. I don't remember his face that well because I didn't want to stay for long since he was so scary but he lives right outside of town, in zachary building" Bert nodded, this might be good if that is the same guy, Bert will get him to tell the truth and maybe get Elmer out of this.

"Okay, I will go check it out" Elmer nodded, Bert got closer giving Elmer's lips a long kiss before pulling back "I love you and I will be back soon" Bert smiled adding Elmer a peck then going to the cell informing the guard to open the door. Bert walked out leaving an eased Elmer who knows everything will be alright, as long as he still got Bert by his side nothing will go wrong, it was comforting that all Elmer's worries disappeared even if he was still stuck in a cell.

Bert arrived where Elmer was directed to, he got off of the horse making his way to the house. He gave it a single knock then waited for whoever was inside to open up. When his dad talked about Wiley it sounded like he was a bad guy and Bert came prepared just in case the guy decides to do something, who knows, he poisoned the king and managed to kill him, what said he wouldn't kill Bert if he came asking questions.

Bert brought a small sword with him and his magic is ready for battle. Soon the door opened an a young woman walked out, she recognized Bert as she bowed greeting him respectfully then asking about the king, something's Bert didn't want to get into "Who do you live with?"

"Me, my husband and our daughter"

"Is your husband Wiley Rockrof?"

"No, his name is James" the girl replied with a laugh probably finding Bert's question funny "Wiley is the guy that used to live here, he moved out two weeks ago after selling us the house"

"How did he look like?" Bert was getting curious with this Wiley guy, he might be the real murderer and if Bert got him, this might get Elmer out of trouble very soon.

"So tall, at first I thought he would hit me and my husband but turns out he was so sweet. He sold this house at a very cheap price"

"Do you know why he sold?"

"Poor man, his mother had just died, he decided to go for an adventure" Bert nodded staring at the house intently, inside him he felt like there is more to the house, to the woman than meets the eye. He had to keep a close eye on them too, they might lead him to Wiley. Bert thanked her for her time before turning around to leave with his heart telling him to just run away from here before things got bad.

Bert knew that before anything else, he had to know who he is searching for and why his dad would think he wanted to kill the king. This was something he had to study before tackling and to get to know Wiley, Bert had to steal his father's information, unlock some of the secrets his father keeps.
