Scene Five:

The familiar screams and roars of excitement filled through Jordan's ears, along with the rest of the band. Keegan was grinning like a maniac, staring through a small glimpse in the brushed away curtain. Jordan thrummed his fingers against his tight jeans, getting the usual anticipation and adrenaline that pumped through his veins everytime they were minutes before appearing on stage. Most of the guys were too busy focusing on tuning their instruments, probably the fifth time today.

"There's so many girls out there," Keegan noted. "I love it!" Looking away from the small view of the crowd, Keegan stepped toward his friend.

"You remember the lineup, right?" He asked, placing a gentle hand to Jordan's shoulder.

Jordan nodded, he always remembered the song lineup. It was almost imprinted into his brain, though he wouldn't doubt if it honestly was tattooed there, somewhere.

The usual stage man came past them, mumbling, "You're on in sixty seconds, look alive out there."

Turning back to Keegan, Jordan smiled. "Alright, let's do this." Jordan left all his worries, fears, regrets and all back behind him as he walked on stage. The blinding light beamed, as the roars and screams got louder. Waving, he smiled and took his normal place behind the microphone.

The entire time Jordan was on stage, he was unaware of everything else but his fans and the effort needed to give them satisfaction of a wonderful concert.

The concert itself was a blast. Jordan seemed to be putting much more effort into it than he usually needed. He suppressed everything that was horrible in his life and reconstructed it so that it became something new and beautiful. In between sets, Jordan would not even dare to think about Christofer. In fact, in his mind there was nothing but his fans and songs.

Nobody else mattered right now and he was pleased with that notion. He finally felt the weight of the world vanishing from his nimble, thin shoulders. Jordan could breathe once again, knowing that this was his home, that this was exactly what he looked forward to everytime he created a new song.

It was their last song, the dwindling crowd was screaming and cheering as they thrived off of this final moment. That's when everything went horribly wrong, steering off of the edge and leading Jordan to the fiery flames below.

Jordan was beaming on stage, the microphone held stiffly in his hand. "Alright, so it took us a little while to pull out a good final song for you guys in our lineup," The whines were heard throughout the largely spaced arena. "But, I think we picked a good one! Without further adieu --" Jordan's hand tightened around the microphone once roaring screams erupted from his fans' mouths and he was forced to trail off his sentence. Some were jumping up and down, while others were flat out crying their eyes out.

He looked to the side to see Christofer and his band walking on the stage. He had a large smile plastered on his face and as he waved to the crowd of adorning fans, Jordan's stomach dropped. All the feelings he had solely suppressed came flooding back into his system, causing Jordan to feel slightly light-headed. He silently wondered if it would always be like this, the fact that he'd become overwhelmed with his emotions that he wouldn't be able to think straight anymore.

Jordan had hoped not, the one thing he worshiped about himself was his sane mind. It never seemed to be unreasonable or jumbled, now Christofer was starting to change all that. Everything Jordan had once depended on, was becoming a loose tie to reality and it terrified him.

Christofer looked away from the crowd and made direct eye contact with Jordan, causing his uneasy stomach to become worse and tighten in anticipation. Moving the microphone stand, Jordan moved to the right, making room for Christofer to bring an extra microphone stand for himself.
